Jealous

"A female tiger has killed her mate at a West Texas zoo in a rare attack that came after months of simmering jealousy in a feline love triangle" This was in the news. I was amazed. I can't believe jealousy is also a thing in tigers, or maybe in all animals. I have never been in a love triangle but how about you fellow myLotters? Have you experienced being involved in a love triangle? How did you cope up? Love to hear from you.

This is really interesting and proves that even animals knows how to feel jealous and knows their possession. I never been a love triangle, thou my partner cheated me few times. I never get jealous and let him go,not to create more trouble.

Good. Just let him go. Don't bother killing the guy, it's not worth it :D

I can't help it but I admire that tiger LOL. And it is normal in the animal world as it is in the human world. Only we say we should behave because.... How many women do fight about a man? (and the man doesn't care or smiles and is abusing the situation). I been in such kind of situation and I ended it (I left) as I figured out/thought it would never end. Well he did end it (with the other one) 2-3 years later and is still (now we are 6 years later) bothering me :-( He seems to have a very bad memory, never heard about the word NO or EXIT and is living in his own fantasy world.

I don't know. Why do women have to fight over a guy? There a lot of men out there. Just let them go and move on. Isn't it better?

Well i think animals can get jealous too... most of the time i see my pet dog(a pug) kind of act weird whenever i would carry around a similar pug stuff toy. hehe she would bark at the stuff toy and would ran after it whenever i put it down. hmm yeah i bet they will feel that too, they are animals and they have feelings, of course. i think i have never been to a love triangle before... actually more of an infidelity sort of thing. haha but that's a thing of the past... :D

Not really a love triangle but I was jealous with this girl back in high school. She always approached my ex boyfriend as if flirting with him. There are girls who are nice to my ex, but I really don't mind. I am just jealous to this one specific girl. I don't know, I was young during that time and I feel very judgmental and jealous.

It's just okay. You are still very young back there and maybe your not mature enough to control your emotions.

Yes, I have been in a bit of a love triangle before in high school I remember having a bad crush on this one boy, but he was of course interested in another girl. This left me feeling a bit lacking. Questioning of am I pretty enough, smart enough, etc. Eventually, I came to the realization that people are just interested in different things and that there wasn't anything wrong with me in particular. Well, I'm sure I do have flaws like anyone else, but I won't beat myself up over them.

Good thinking. I'm glad you did not get into trouble just because of that. Continue appreciating yourself and others will follow :D

Animals and humans are the same, we have feelings. If there are no jealousy among animals, why would lions be fighting to be king and leader of their group? The same goes for monkeys, they fight for their love ones, to reproduce their young. I've been involved in one, but that's not what i wanted. Feelings are hard to control and that's how we end up with passion of crime.

I thought it was just dominance and territory that they do that. I just didn't thought there are emotional too. I wonder if animals get sentimental at times too.
