Hi Bulastika! Where would you hold your bazaar? Ive heard that the ABS CBN and GMA7 holds events like these, and I cant remember which of them does it in SMEX. I was told that it was such a hit selling in those areas! My sister joins bazaars as well and she sells fancy jewelries. Based on my observation though, the stuff that really makes a hit among the masses are food (yes always food) and unusual stuff. There was one last year who sold gloves. We thought it was going to be a flop but she really did well because you dont find gloves anywhere. My sister also thought of selling kiddie shirts and it was such a big win because she really dropped the price! Remember... Sell something that you alone can offer!
I really wish you the best.

Its my first time. Its in the fort. My concern is that since the fort and the bazaar itself is for class ABC. I don't know if my goods well sell. And the rent is so high also like 7K to 8K for two days only. The worse part is that when you inter the bazaar you need to pay 50 pesos entrance fee. So I'm really concern because. Theirs so few people who can visit the site and those who can are mostly who has cars. My plan is to have class BCDE type of customers. Not ABC. But still earn or losing I'm hoping to get good experience in this. Anyway. Just wondering what is good mark up? Because my sister want to have 50% mark up and more than that for her its greed. I told her its business. As I found others who even have 400% mark up. But for her more than 50% is greed. I have hard time convincing her that this is a bazaar and in bazaar its not about quantity that counts. Since your only their temporarily. Unlike if you have a permanent store that you can lower your price since every day you can sell your goods.

Rental in the fort is really high. I would understand why some sell at 400%. 50% is good but i am not sure if it is good enough to cover for the rentals. If you are selling trinkets that can be found anywhere, mark it up at 50% interest. If it is an unusual find, mark it up at 100%. Good luck!

I also love selling in a bazaar. I have also been searching if I can do it. I would like to suggest that you sell items for kids like toys, dresses, shirts, shorts as Christmas is for children. Parents will buy things first for their children than themselves. You may browse in the internet as there are some wholesale items, which you can buy in bulk for less. Goodluck!

I stop joining bazaar. I loss too much already. I guess what I loss is the amount that I pay for learning. I learn a lot. But sad to say I need more money to adopt. Right now I can't afford to continue joining a bazaar and take another loss.
