9-11 in everyone's memories and thoughts.

So 9-11 is come and gone for another year. I was spending the day reading things on sites all over. Reading how people react and argue still to this day. So I am going to do my little rant on it and please feel free to join in on it.
I was actually already in the US Army when it happened I was at my warehouse working in Germany. Some of the civilians that worked there were telling us and I laughed. Not at the situation but because all of the information was so mixed up that you didn't know what was true or not. They kept telling us that a mall was bombed, so that gives you an idea right there.
I just got out of the army this year so I dealt with the deployments and the convoys and the searching and everything. Did I like any of the things we did? No not really. In general I am not violent so it was very disheartening to me. The reasons it was disheartening is because it became a generalized attack. They kept saying oh if they are muslim they are terrorists, and many still do to this day. That was one of my biggest problems because I have many muslim friends who began questioning me why I was in the army if I truly didn't agree with that sentiment. The simple truth of that is because I had to finish the terms I agreed to. And I was trying to do college. I wasn't in the Army for war.
Now that the personal aspect is covered. If people are still yelling well it is the fault of the people who were in charge how everything happened. That may very well be but we don't know how we would have reacted and those people reacted in the best ways they thought they could. When you are in the same position and given the same situation then you can tell me who was inept. Until then shove off.
As far as the victims that I give a moment of silence to, it is all of those from Sept 11th until now who were victims. Not terrorists or war mongers or just evil people but victims. Men, women, and children on all sides who were victimized I am so sorry that you had to feel pain and anguish. Terrorists and Warmongers you deserve it. For all of my friends here and whoever will read this, coming from an American, I mourn your loses just as much as our own and feel your pain. We need to quit singling people and religions out around the world and only take care of the evil people.

Thanks for your post. I am a Muslim and I do not deny that there are nasty Muslims as there are nasty Christians and nasty people all around whatever their religions are. Unfortunately some people refuse to accept this due to their utmost folly.
They comment based on their foolishness and ignorance. How strange that they would want to display such stupidity everytime someone writes something nice about islam or Muslims.

Thank you for your response.
I totally agree that some refuse to accept whether it is because of religion or personal loss or some other reason I am not sure, however I do know one of the key things to always have in Christianity is to forgive. When people continually hound about muslims they most definitely are not forgiving.

Oh I agree that I don't think there did. I have a few very close friends that did die that day so I know what you mean.

Youre right! Alot more victims than just those on 9/11. Evil people it is. And more innocent people die trying to rid the world of the evil ones. It is sad that it has to be that way. War is hell and it gets very ugly before anything good can come of it. That is just the way it is.

It is very much so hell. I feel like people continue to let themselves keep a blinded rage directed at one group still though which saddens me more than almost anything does.

I gather that you know absolutely nothing about the culture of Islam. You know absolutely nothing about Sharia or Islamic Law. If you did, you would not have worded your post the way you did. You also have not read any of the news coming out of England or the information posted by the Canadian news about what is happening to the English people. Yesterday the muslims held rallies all over England holding signs saying things like UK it is your turn next...You will get your 911...Die EU...England is next...Behead anyone who insults Islam...Force conversion to Islam...There were even women in full Burkan and veil holding these signs. These are sweet gentle religious folks? There were thousands in the streets sir...They are taking over England. They have already taken over whole communities and rule by sharia in them.
Go online and read The Islamic Law that is online...It is frightening!

First I thank you for you response.
I have read about sharia and Islamic law and do have maybe not a complete understanding but a pretty decent understanding I do believe. The reason my post is worded its way is because it is my feelings, I'm not real sure what your pointing to in it specifically so I can't really elaborate. No I have not read much of the news coming out of England but I have heard some and listened to a little of it. I never said they were sweet or gentle religious folks. I did say I know many that are not zealots which is what an extremist would be considered in my mind whether Islamis or Christian or Jewish or any other religion.
You stated what the signs or protests have said but seem to have forgotten a little thing called the Spanish Inquisition which was saying the same things for Catholocism as those signs are stating for Islam now. Every religion has it in them. Not just one. It is in how it is interpreted by the individuals that affects anything. Their are Muslims that do not adhere to those laws because they realize that they are archaic or barbaric.
And if they do adhere to them, I do feel sorry that they believe it word for word but it is their right as far as belief. Law is another matter entirely and why the separation of church and state is so important in my eyes.
I do agree The Islamic Law is very frightening. It is however based on their religious beliefs and is a lot more closely tied to religion than a lot of other world countries and societies.
They may not be forgiving and all due to the religion but the rest of the world despising them does not make them even reconsider that point because it proves they are right to them.

i was very mature for my age then though.. i was and am quite intelligent, and more so than my peers, and i already watched the news on a regular basis and was quite worldly knowledgable. and it affected me because i am a very emotional person, and care for other people, known to me or not.. it was horrible to watch.

I don't know that I would have even paid attention had I been in school honestly. My attitude with a lot of things when I was in school was that it ain't gonna affect me so I don't care. For that reason I am glad I was an adult honestly.
