I will be traveling for the first time in flight. Do you get scared while taking off or while landing? Or not scared at all. Even when traveling for 1st time?

It was actually quite scary the first time and at the same time exciting. I remember my professor telling me to have a chewing gum during the flight to ease the pressure in your head during take-off and landing. I've been on an airplane a number of times now and we even experienced some turbulence in some flights. Hopefully you won't have that on your first flight. Just enjoy the experience, and try to get a window seat after or before the wings and enjoy the view.

I never ride an airplane before. But I would love to ride probably a Boeing 737 plane going to LAX. I was once a reservation agent from an airline company. I know a lot of the things about flights and airplanes but funny I never ride an airplane before. I haven't seen one so close as well.

I went on my first flight when I was 14 years old from London to Athens. I didn't feel at all frightened and the actual take off was exciting. I liked seeing the landscape below and then the puffy white clouds. When the plane began descending I got severe ear pain. I was fine for the landing apart from my ears hurting. I did plenty more flights after that. Ten years later before my flight to Kenya I had a pair of ear planes given to me. These stopped all my ear pain and I always buy a pair before I go off on my flight. Good luck with your first flight.

I don't remember exactly how I felt when I took my first flight. That was some years ago. But, these days, having taken many flights within my country and to overseas, I am quite used to the conditions and environments on airplanes. I do feel a bit nervous when the plane flies through rough weather conditions when it becomes pretty bumpy. Gets scary some times.

I do have a phobia of flying, and this means that I have not been on holiday abroad for a good number of years. I know that some people are scared of flying but still manage to get on the place but I cannot do this at all. I will never book a holiday that you need to fly to because I just know that I wouldn't enjoy it when I got there because I'd be worrying for the whole time about the fact that I'd have to get on another plane to go home again at the end of the holiday. There are things that you can do to get help for fears such as mine, but I haven't really had the time to do this yet. I think that it is something that I will get around to at some point in the near future, because I have a lot of places that I would really like to visit.

I haven't ridden any plane before and I'm afraid of riding one. I don't think I'll be riding a plane any time soon. I'll only ride a plane if it's really necessary. If it's just for a vacation or something, I'd rather not go.

I have height issues. I don't look down from windows even when I'm just on the fifth floor because my knees would weaken. Every time I need to fly, I just don't get scared. I border on hysteria. LOL. I'll have nightmares before and after the flight. My knees would feel like rubber the whole time. But that's just me. Many people enjoy flying. You enjoy yours, okay. :)
