Factoidz may be a scam- a warning

I just thought I'd warn everybody out there who's using this site. Someone recommended it to me and I went to their site and my browser popped up with a message – it said that the site domain is "under review or has expired." This means one of two things. Either the administrators of the site didn't pay to renew their domain, which means that they plan to close shop and run, leaving everyone with earnings unpaid, or the site is under investigation for being fraudulent. I would be very cautious about continuing to write for this site. This message points to the fact that it probably won't be around for very much longer.

After I see your discussion, I visit to factoidz and I didn't see any problem like you said. According to BBB.org is legit site (A -). I also investigate with whois tools and I see that they already renew their domain (06-Jul-11 is their last update). Try visit Factoidz again, maybe just false signal from your browser. Happy lotters

I think it may just have been a mistake with my browser, because now not seeing that message. So I'm sorry. I'm still going to be cautious, but there may be nothing to worry about.

I write for Factoidz now and then. It's not a scam, by any means. It pays regularly and on time, every time. There are many writers working for it who can testify to the same thing.

Thanks for the warning...I have been signed up on Factoidz for awhile now, but haven't written anything for them. I may just wait a bit longer and see what happens before putting any time in there.

If you don't submit anything within six months of joining Factoidz, your account will be deleted. That is in the TOS.

Thanks for letting everyone know. I never signed up for them, luckily. I have gotten into the habit of researching sites to see what kind of experience other people have had before I fully commit. For those who have gotten paid by Factoidz, I am very happy that you have been among the lucky and successful!

Factoidz is a scam. They pay in the first few months, then claim you 'broke the rules' and confiscate your work. This can be proven...try to delete anything you wrote for Factoidz and you won't be able to. FURTHER...there have been so many complaints the site has changed it's name to Knoji, but...get this...keeps all the confiscated articles from other writers and specifically states if you try to delete your article you will be punished.
