I believed so.
When friends are not around and you need someone to listen or to talk with, a pet, thou they never understand, but they feel what we feel and give us some comfort.
One thing more is, while talking to our pets and telling what we feel, they cannot speak, but they will give us a look as if saying..."i am here"
have a good day

I so agree with you jaiho2009 . I could talk to my dog and she would look straight at me, lean her head as it she were trying to understand and sympathize. I know a lot of people who have long conversations with there dogs and find great comfort in doing so

You are right about the way our dogs make us forget about all the sorrows. They have that special gift to make us smile and be happy for a moment! I don't think anybody could resist their happy way of greeting us when we return home! Every cell of their body express happiness and this is something that makes us happy, too.
Dogs unconditional love can't be compared with anything. Only those who know the love of a dog can say they have known how true love is.

Pets make awesome friends! It makes you all warm and happy inside knowing your pet is glad to see you too! Dogs are very expressive creatures and you can tell that they've missed you. I've heard on the radio that pets can improve health and make really good companions. Pets aren't people and people can cause you stress. But pets relieve that stress because they can't talk back and they offer you comfort. That's why some elderly people always have a pet. I know an old lady up my street and she walks her little dog every morning. It's just her and him all these years. =)

yes i do agree that pets are the best friends a human could possably have that is why i think pets should be allowed to enter stores and go more places with their human companions dogs are always so loyal and willing to please their human masters their love is unconditional and they have a natural protectiveness instinct i have a yellow lab and two maltese that i love very much they always help me to take my mind off the stress from my everyday life

i totally agree that pets are the ultimate friends! they take away your stress whatever you had the day. its like my dog. when i come home from a stressful day i cuddle my dog and we would play. his eyes will always twinkle every time we play its like he's saying to me that he missed me a lot during the day when i'm home away.

A dog that is loved and well cared for will only judge you as it would another dog.
it doesn't care if you are rich or poor as long as you meet the needs of the dog.
It makes no judgement about the things that humans judge each other on and will return love with each chance it gets.

I think that people can get along very well with their pets and we do get close to them. The only sad thing is that animals don't live for as long as we do as humans and this can mean that we suffer loss when we have to say goodbye to them much earlier than we might have liked to do so. One of the things that I think attracts people towards animals is that you can never have an argument with them. If you're talking to them, they will never answer back or try to tell you that you are wrong and, because of this, many people often feel as though they even prefer animals to human beings.

I also have a dog that is the best too. My dog's favorite person is my boyfriend those two are truly best friends and do so much together. My dog is very spoiled and gets lots of lovings and lots of treats all the time. He sleeps with me everynight and not all the time with his daddy because he doesnt stay the night at mommys house everynight LOL. He loves when we do get home but hates when we are leaving the house.

I would agree about a dog, but not necessarily a cat lol A dog offers unconditional love. Even if you leave them alone for hours, late to feed them, etc they are forgiving and happy always to see you. However a cat is more independent and will only put up with a limited amount. I have had both and love both as God's gift to us.
