Hey guys! I know it's been awhile since my last discussion. I just wanted to know your outlook on the fitness trend of pole dancing? I actually have started working at a pole fitness studio. I must say I love the workout! It's amazing these trends we come up with. I love the workout. I know I'm repeating myself but wow! So what's your opinions on the subject? That way we could maybe incorporate it in our business. Thanks!! Caite

I definitely like the pole fitness work outs. They really do push yourself to use different muscles you wouldn't normally work out and it keeps you lean. Plus it's a lot of fun!! :)

My studio has pole fitness in the morning, belly dancing in the afternoon and we end the night with Zumba. It's a great day.

Wow I am impressed!! I love the Zumba exercise/dance. I have a belly dance video and it is HARD to do. LOL I guess it's a matter of getting used to. I wish you much success with your studio! Providing exercise is a great and worthy job so I hope you make a ton of money

That's key to new workouts..using muscles that other exercises do not reach. I think a combination of different things is good..like pole dancing and regular dancing would be terrific

I think most guys here would agree, that we(men) like pole dancing. Just watching of course. It's been sort of an underground treat for guys. Now that it has become a little bit mainstream, then the whole world would be able to enjoy what half of us have been enjoying already. And that there is an exercise involved?! It's just a bonus!

That's just awesome! It would make every marine that goes out on tour have the extra incentive to come home!

This was demonstrated at the Vitality Show Earls Court last year, and I think it's great. Years ago I used to keep supple by using the support posts for the gym ceiling, and got a great feeling as it made my body so supple and stretchy. It's not tacky - any more than those circus women are who spin on the ropes.

Thank you. We make it a point to our clients that we are not a stripper college, we are a fitness center. We don't want anyone to get things twisted. What you do with your new learned material is your business and yours alone.

I think it's a great idea. It is a new trend and it looks fun. Whatever it takes for enthusiasm in exercising is good to stay motivated and get the benefits.

Oww, that is nice. I have seen some reports about this kind of workout, but I've never known someone who does this. I think that is a great idea, and very sexy too, but I always want to know if it is really a good exercise. Could you answer me?

The exercise is fantastic! A lot of people don't realize the amount of upper body strength pole dancing actually takes. You can't just jump on a pole and except to flip and invert without any training. And the toning aspects of it, I have had t wo kids by 18 years old, as most ofyou all know, and I've getting my abs back. It's amazing!
