but i ahve a small deviation from ur part of answer .i think looks really matter for the first meet but it is the way the person conducts himself how he deal with the people and above all how he or she is being to all the person who interact with him dont you think

the first thing that attracts me and makes me take a decision is the attitude of man.
how we treat people how to communicate because if one person behaves well with others if you think positive and if people meet with a smile is the man for me.

We look at the same thing. I usually look in the eyes of the person I talk to and tried to see his sincerity. Also, I look at how he behaves in front of other people.

for me, gestures tells it all at first impression. face expressions, their eyes, hands, or even by the way they smile. you can tell a person at first meeting by the way he acts. you can tell whether they are gentle men, or not. whether they are straight or gays. whether they are boastful or humble. haha. that's all for my own experience anyway.

no doubt it matters..but I like to get to know someone better..so if he isn't just a pretty face doesn;t mean I would dump him from the very begining...I like a man with sense of humour...I love to laugh for example..

For me, It is always the physical appearance and my impression of her/him. I believe that first impression lasts. However, i also do change my impression because I also "don't usually judge the book by its cover".

Looks are definitely the first thing that attracts me to a guy! As others like to put it, looks are deceiving, subsequently I have to look for something else to justify my attraction. One if it would be gentleman. I like it when a guy acts like a gentleman infront of a woman. Example, to open the car door for a woman to get out or the door to a restaurant, to pull out a chair, etc. This makes me feel a guy is sexy! LOL

I would look at the way they potray themself. How they speak and what kind of words they use. The body language and facial expressions matter too. How they react towards others mainly will create an impression on me. I will then either like the person or just be neutral.

hm.. initially it would be the person's appearance since it's the first thing seen by the eyes. initially the posture, the height, the complexion then the eyes. too much of the superficial part then next would be the persons personality. the 1st encounter that impression would stay but will change as you know the person deeply.
