Good Morning everyone.
I heard this question/discussion today morning while driving to work (Local radio station).
Do you hate your JOB? Or your BOSS?
It really gives a new perspective to the "hate my job" issue.
Do you really hate what you are doing? Or is your boss the reason?
Or maybe it is the policies and procedures followed in your organization?
I would love to learn from your answers; because it made sense to me.
It is the beginning of a working day here, and I will be keeping my attention on this matter while going through the day. I will be updating you :)

hi there, ofcourse many people hate thier jobs because of many reasons, personally i hate my what i do because i depend on everyone to do my job, and if someting goes wrong, im afected, i think this is not right but until now that is the process to follow, i would like to move to another position, i request it already to my boss but i have to stay more time until someone else is been trained to do my work,
seems like there is no good organization here.

Thank you "investor211" for your comment.
Yes. This is the challenge in Value Chains; if one cycle (or a person) is not working in a proper manner or delivering the required outcomes, then it will surely affect everybody.
Unfortunately, there is no Perfect World, or Best company to work for.
There will always be Pros. and Cons. but we should always focus on the positive side of things.
After all, you attract what you see or think of.
I always reminder myself to be Positive and keep smiling; things will get better.

Hi all,
This has been a very interesting week!
The "hating BOSS" issue is resolved and I am working closely with my direct supervisor.
And guess what?
We are working together to enhance our department policies and procedures in order to smoothen our work!
Good Luck to everyone.

@wowash95,
I agree.
But it is not always easy to do or find a job that you like doing.
Unfortunately, the majority are working just for the payroll, or to pay bills...etc.
Life is not easy anymore and Months are running by so fast.
I believe it is time for people to stop a moment and have a serious talk with the person they see in the mirror! :)
Why are you here (Planet Earth)?
What do you like/enjoy doing?
What are your dreams? Goals?
...
..
.
:)

Those are interesting questions. I wouldn't say that I hate my job or my boss, but there are some things I don't like about it. However, I won't state what they are as I wouldn't want my boss to find out about it! LOL
Happy mylotting!

Interesting questions..Based on my experience, it is very rarely for me to leave jobs because i don;t like the jobs (it happened only once). I worked as part time English teacher for an institution nearby for 3,5 years. I left not because I didn`t like the job, but because I needed more challenge. That`s why I decided to be a freelance teacher for corporate training. ABout my last job..to be honest, it was my fave job:football writer. Actually, my main job was a translator, but in case they need a reporter ( as there is only one reporter/writer), I did coverage as well. I enjoyed the job, I met lots of new friends from other media (one of them is my present BF, hope everything is running well with our last relationship),my editor-in-chief, managing editor etc are THE BEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. they are very supportive, nice, my managing editor, no matter how big mistake I made, always warned me with smooth voice, rather than venting his anger. If I had an info to cover, I let him know and i asked him"Can I go to this seminar/event?", when he said"OK",he let me go by himself and kept him update. Everything was okay, until we found out that the management was not running well. It is hard to get budget for events, coverage whatsoever. The editorial team was great, but the directors suck.It made me a little bit down, and i got frustrated when my PC broke down, we couldn`t contact the IT person and it happened for 2 weeks, while the deadline was approaching. My managing editor kept reminding me of not running away from the office, but I said to him"How can I work if I can`t use my own PC?I`d rather work at home".It ruined my concentration and mood, a week before I left the office. My managing editor also resigned last August, same like me. I still have the passion to be a writer again,I got stuck for being unemployed for 1,5 months. However, my last working experience is still considered the best, we have the best teamwork, people, however, the management was disappointing.

Dear jasmeena,
Thank you for dropping by.
It seems you had a good experience in the corporate World.
Consider yourself lucky, as there are many unethical and disasters stories in the corporate World.
My conclusion from your comment is that nothing is perfect. And it is always the best decision to do (work) what you love and what you are most passionate about.
Best regards.

my hate my part - time job boss, and she is a f''king b'tch. I dream of killing her and make her life miserable instead make mine right now. She is lazy, and she is incompetent of anything, even handling customers. The only way she is still standing, because she is the real boss's sister. Other than that, I would rather spit on her miserable faces.

Hi there kingparker,
WOW!!!
You really got a situation there.
Look for another job, or try to adjust with your current situation, which I am afraid it is obvious that it is not the case. :)
Wishing you all the good luck.
Note: Is "SHE" good looking? Maybe it will make things easier *wink*

Partly the job and a little bit of the boss and the biggest part of it is the salary. The reason why I am thinking of leaving this company is that it do not give me the right salary for my job, the system also add up.

Dear laniekins,
Yes, I can hear you.
The problem of us Humans is that we always want more (Yes, I am one of them too) and when we get what we want we look further up!
There is nothing wrong with progress and personal growth but the debate here is

Well, if a person was to really ask me these questions, I could never really say that I hate my Boss. Disappointed with him, Yes. Shocked about all that he has done, Yes. but never hate. As well as my job. There are days I get quite frustrated with it, and wish I could find something better, but it is not the worst job or Boss I have ever had. I have worked places before that were NIGHTMARES from Hell, and had BOSSES this way as well. So in comparison even with all the many issues I am dealing with at this time, I would not say that this could compare.
