Hello everybody,
Me and my partner made tons of photos and recently we sorted them and put them into separate folders, to have a nice photo album.
But that thumbs.db file is so annoying! It is everywhere! In every little folder, no mater if there is a photo or a thousand photos in that folder, the thumb.db file is there.
Do you know a way to get rid of this file?
Is there any possibility to stop creating this kind of file?

is it on windows? i think thumbs.db is a database that windows explorer created so if you open the folder contain image files you can see the thumbnails in your explorer. I'm no longer a windows user so i'm not really sure how to get rid of it, but you can try to switch the setting in your explorer from thumbnails to small icons so the explorer doesn't automaticaly create those thumbs.db.

actually after i search we can stop explorer from creating those thumbs.db just visit this site:
http://ask-leo.com/what_is_thumbsdb_and_can_i_delete_it.html
in that site explain that in folder option inside windows explorer there's a checklist called "Do not cache thumbnails" just check that option and your windows explorer will stop creating thumbs.db

Wow! This is great information! If I knew it was this possibility to get rid of the annoying file, I would have changed that option months ago!
Thank you for the great tip you gave me and thank you for taking your time to find the answer I needed.
