When I was young, I always like to have breakfast in the canteen where I can enjoy some eggs and sausages, hams and macaroni as well. I like it very much but when some body gave me a cup of coffee, I felt very uncomfortable after I drank it.I felt it smells good but strong,I felt the taste was bitter and not sweet at all. I felt headache and faster heartbeat after the coffee and That's why I never like it anyway. When I grow up and saw so many people crazy about coffee, I just don't understand them at all. Anyway, I can't drink any coffee after I have some heartbeat problem and I never like it anyway. Perhaps you can tell me why you like coffee that much.

I honestly really don't like coffee all that much, but I am addicted to caffeine, which is the ingredient in coffee that people really desire that is in coffee. For me, the reason that I need caffeine first thing when I wake up in the morning is because of the fact that I need it to get myself up and going. Caffeine is a stimulant, which is probably the reason that it made you feel funny in the chest area, but it is also the thing that will get me functional in the morning.

Hey, Dorin. I found these two poem online about coffee and I think they are interesting, what do you think?
1.IRISH COFFEE
By Allen L. Johnson -
My caffeinated riff on a favorite poem:
"William Butler Yeat's Lake Isle of Innisfree"
I will arise and go now, to sip my morning coffee
And read the morning paper--sports, politics, and trade.
Nine flavors will they blend me there, of roasted araby,
Ground finely by the bean-loud blade.
I might take some tea later, when tea comes dripping slow,
Dripping Jasimine, mint, ginseng, from silver rings.
The afternoons are quiet there, sometimes even slow,
And evenings people study things.
I will arise and go now, and start my busy day,
But after hitting Starbucks, not before,
And while I'm stuck in traffic, out on the pavement grey,
I'll savor the last drops and yearn for more.

2.Coffee, My Old Friend
By Karie Lesly
An aroma that fills the room with warmth brewing gently, steady and
calm.
Two friends together in stolen moments sharing soul, heart, life.
Weaving through the years
like a fine delicate lace.
The design unravels details,
simplicity, sometimes flaws.
And even still, meshing together
bonded by each cup.
The tenderness of solitude
occasionally with a good book.
As I take the first sip
of the first cup
I realize again that I am blessed.
To share this cup with such a friend,
sometimes it being only me.
So much more than flavor, roast or blend...
A way of life.

Hi, wildlittlefan. I hardly ever drink coffee as much myself either. I like to drink, Maxwell House, International Cafe. My favorite flavor is Suisse Mocha Cafe. It is sugar free and it is decaffeinated. I may drink this twice a month though. Otherwise I usually will drink Ovaltine or a Carnation Instant Breakfast Shake. I love coffee, but I don't have to have it everyday. Coffee seems to always make me feel very sleepy, so I don't like to drink it as often.

For the longest time, I hated drinking coffee. In fact, it was only this year that I started drinking the stuff. I liked the smell, but I didn't care much for the taste.
I drink a lot of caffeine from diet coke. I drink it morning, noon and night. But up until recently, I found that it couldn't keep me awake mid day anymore. So, resorted to drinking coffee.
And it's working good so far. Keeps me wide awake!

I am addicted to coffee. I love the smell of a fresh pot brewing too. I like just about all kinds of coffee that are not flavored. I have to have about 5 cups each day. lol.

I am a coffee lover and for what reason that I do not know (hehehe)
I just love drinking it and I like it strong and black.
I can last a day without eating a meal but I cannot last a single day without a coffee.
have a good day

coffee for me is an energy drink that perks me up when i'm sleepy or to get going. i really am not in the right mood without my morning coffee! i usually have three to four times of coffee a day as i get sleepy mostly after eating meals, lol! anyways, coffee is an antioxidant and probably good for the body in moderation.

well thts a good observation u know and it is largely attributed to a fact that people who drink coffe or tea get addicted to it .basically dissecting coffee shows that it contains caffene which makes people gets addicted to them
so its better to avoid coffee as it is also root cause of many deseas like headache heart problems etc

I don't know why. I just do! Well, it is stimulating maybe because of the caffeine in it, so with some people, it can induce headache and palpitation. For me that happens when I've had too much. But, I rarely go beyond three per day.

Well, honestly I think that for some people drinking coffee has just become a habit. Me, I like the taste of good coffee early in the morning, but I'm also heaving problems with heartbeats, because I have heart problems from before and the only way to enjoy similar to that is to drink decaf.
