Eating in an expensive restaurant or search for cheaper local food?

hello guys.
I'm planning to travel this weekend. I was just wondering if you could help me on this one. When traveling which is better eating in expensive restaurant or search for the cheaper local food.

Actually, that depends on you budget jaifrille.
If you have lots of extra budget then you can eat at those expensive restaurants. But if you don't have , then it's best to eat at the cheaper local store.
Remember, when you travel you get to see lots of beautiful things which you can bring home as "pasalubongs" , that buying all of them would surely drain your budget.
So it's best to at least be thrifty when eating on your way. Those local food outlets are cheaper and you can be sure of their quality. Whatever you saved could later be used for those "pasalubongs" or any emergency that may crop up.

As long as the place is clean and suitable to my liking and the foods looks tasty, I don't mind if it is expensive or a cheap eatery.
When travelling to places that is not familiar with me,I always look for a place where I can find my favorite food and dine or buy my food.
