yes you can purchase good online...but there is a limit you you did not verify your account..any way which country you are from?
AS I know there is different rules in different countries.
if you have a verified account in PayPal and you have a alternate source to fund your PayPal account then you can use your PayPal account for purchase whatever you want..

Paypal is the popular site and millions of users use it. It is very secured and even if any threats happened unfortunately,it resolves immediately.
As per your question you can purchase online if you have enough balance/funds in your paypal account. You can use email id registered at paypal for your purchases. If you don't receive any funds or don't have balance in your paypal account then only you have to link it to credit card to purchase through online without using your credit card details typing on a site for which you don't know the security level. In this way paypal provides security for your credit card. If you are receiving funds to your account then use your paypal id for online shopping where paypal payments are accepted.

I guess sreekutty has got the full guidelines on using paypal in india.
We have to share these updates to every paypal user. so please pass the information to keep users away from last minute surprises.
paypal should send the guidelines to every user before activating the accounts or should intimate the changes at the earliest.

Why don't you ask paypal directly? Their support and service is ok. But what I think is that you need a credit card, because paypal will give a special pin code. As far as I know you don't have to give paypal id to stores, why it works online via your email address. But as I said contact paypal directly and drop your questions there.

Hi sreekutty. I had tried several times to buy online with my Paypal account. It's great and safe to use. I did not want to use any credit card online because the card is not mine and I don't want them to feel unsafe. That is why I only use my Paypal. I already have money in my Paypal account from the other sites that I had joined before.
