Well once again in my life I have decided that I have put on too much weight and I am not happy with my body size, so I am going tomorrow morning to start Weight Watchers again. Why I keep quitting is beyond me. I believe this will be the 4th time I am joining again. I stick with the program until I lose the weight I want to then I get lazy again and pack on the pounds and voila find myself where I am now...back to square one!!!! My husband is going to join with my this time, we have decided not to make this a diet but a life change. With our boys growing older they are getting more active and I need to be able to keep up with them. So my question to everyone is have you had success with weight loss and if so please tell me how to keep the weight off once I lose it. I too can lose it, but I lose the momentum to stay with the program once I have lost it. Just need some friendly advice is all. Thanks in advance.

I used weight watchers also but had to quit because of money issues. I had success with it when I stayed on program. I think if you reach the goal weight they set for you then you can keep coming and weigh in and be in a "maintenance" phase that keeps you on program but you don't have to keep paying to come weigh in. I wish I could go back because I put a little weight back on since I quit. I think i would just stay on program even if you quit going to the meetings. Just never stop counting your points or exercising. I want to get in better shape for my kids too.

Hi gtfrog,
Those who are too fat are worried as to how to lose weight. I have seen many people walking fast in the morning or evening, or doing some Yoga or buying a walking machine. Finally there is no result. Those with central obesity easily catch prestigious diseases like high BP, diabetics, and a few from their family ( family of decease )
Last year I was seriously ill and was a guest in the ICU and Hospital hospitality. Since I was told that the total number of saline I was suppled was 81 and 70 odd injection besides tablets. As I recovered slowly and became active again I observed that I was gaining weight.
Then I stopped taking meal at day time and would take some juice and fruits. One month later I saw the changes.
I hope you got my point.
