Also skin and colour of the eyes seem to get paler the older we get.
Looks as if we are running out of pigment sooner or later, although not every person seems to have that problem. If it is possible to minimize it I doubt. Unless you can change your dna.
The only kind of pigment that does gets more the older we get are moles (a new born baby seldom has them).

if only we could drink pigment juice from a pigment plant.
i don't really like the thought of looking like a washed out version of myself.. i would like my bright eyes still :(
maybe contacts and hair dye are the way forward? haha!

OIC. I can't answer that question. Btw, I watched an infotainment programme a few mths ago, and one of the guests mentioned about the benefits of using a particular type of comb known as 'huang yang mu comb'. One of the benefits, according to him, is that using this type of comb can help people with gray (white) hair. I am not sure how true that is, but I have personally used it and I have noticed that it helps to reduce numbness.

maybe because after a sort of time ,means when we grow older acording to the age factor the inner system of the human being starts changing ,so only there are some changes with the skin and the hair.

Hello,I think it is because the pigments that give hair their color goes..it is because in our DNA,There is a substance called Telomear which is responsible for aging process. And also our body gets really like weathered out!!!I think this telomear is main responsible for this!!!

Hi shskumbla: I have read there are so many different factors but age, your own DNA and stress can affect the way your cells produce melanin which is the substance that gives color to your hair. As you go older you produce less melanin and also stress affects your body and make you look older.

Hi!
Our hair and beard turn white when we getting older and older is because our body cannot produce the pigment that maintain the hair original color. Some of the cells that produce color pigments in our body ware off and get weaker. That is why you will find only some of your hair became white but not all.
Some people get white hair because of stress, so relax will be one of the most important thing to avoid your hair became white.
Also, people who like to stay late will also easy to get white hair, so go to rest earlier will help you avoid such a problem.
Other way to avoid white hair, is to consume vitamin B12 supplements. Insufficient of vitamin B12 sometimes causes premature gray or white hair. You can also get vitamin B12 from meat, dairy products and eggs.
One more thing you can try is He Shou Wu which is a Chinese herb's name, it has long been used by Chinese herbalists to restore youthfulness and black hair.
Hope these information will help.

its due to the pigment fading from our bodies.. a little sad really.. that we don't have anything to give us a boost, even our colour leave us as we get older!
but grey hair can always be caused by stress too.. my partner would get grey hairs now and again and shes only 22!! .. a shock to the system causes the hair to die, which turns it grey.
hair dye is the answer!!
