Listening to the radio brings me pleasure.

Listening to the radio is the worst way to listen to music and get news.better way is to get an iPod touch and get NPR, main reason I hate radio is because they play dumb music, I don't get to choose and it's frustrating listening to mainstream hip hop as it's all fake

When im in a car and the radi oisnt on i get a headache and it bothers me, even if i already have a headache i need the radio on and it actually helps me to relax and have fun and sometimes it gets rid of my headache. I like listening to music and always have and in school when istuided i used to listen to music too and it just helped me out alot and i was more relaxed and it was just a better way for me to study.

I don't think I was even in my teens when I started giving up on radio, which seems odd when you consider that I am a counter-cultural sort of person! I just had a handful of country stations that I liked when I was a kid, but after Garth Brooks retired, I did not like the direction in which country music started to go (I can't even call 95% of it "country") nor did I like the direction in which the radio stations started going. They gradually worked themselves up to a point where there was almost as much talk as there was music, and even stopped giving song title or name of the artist whenever a new song was played. And I NEVER liked mainstream pop, so that was out of the question. Maybe I just need to find the right station and I would enjoy it more. I can definitely see it being a good thing to relax to. I think radio is an amazing medium when done effectively.

Hey, I like listening to the radio very much, the music, the news, the stories etc and sometimes just like the broadcasters. I still remembered that when I was at college, I was always listening to the broadcast while I was reading, washing clothes or even doing nothing. It's really good when you happen to hear a beautiful song or a moved story in the radio. I love this feeling. However, there're not so many people listen to the radion in nowdays. They're busy and there're more and more high-tech products to enjoy. So I think most radio-lovers are the college students and drivers.

hello, Yes, it is really good to listen radio when you dont have any available television. Well, for me i rather to choose tv because I can see the happening to it unlike to the radio but when you are listening to music through radio it is really relaxing because they also tells joke which will make you smile.

Same here! I seriously wouldn't be able to live without my radio I listen to it for about 4 hours a day everyday. It's on when I'm studying, eating and exercising. I need the music because I feel really unproductive and uncomfortable when I'm sitting and doing something in silence. So I need the music blaring into my ears. I listen to a show too with these two really funny radio hosts. So I love my radio!
