PCOS affects so many women and i hope someone can respond to me on in here about pill intake. How long have you been taking pills? Were you able to have menstruation even without the use of pills or are you dependent on them? Would you proudly say that you are now free of PCOS? Is it really worth taking pills or do you think that it is actually useless as PCOS seems to be untreatable?

I've been taking pills for almost a year and I've had no side effects with it, other than not being able to lose weight as much as I'd like to even with diet and exercise. I am able to menstruate regularly, but as I tend to skip, I can have painful menstruations sometimes. Depending on the kind of pill you have, some have been proven to improve fertility because the hormone levels become balanced. You can always go to a gynecologist for more information.
