since the time of our ancestors, corruption has been noted to have been embedded in our government system, one proof of that is the greed for position and holding onto that over and over again at all cost, another is the delaying tactic in processing papers specially to potential investors, it has been allegedly said that for their paper to run, they have to give the what so called 'SOPs" to those person in authority. As an ordinary citizen in what ways lessen this?

simple steps to discourage corruption for simple comforts: 1. avoid waiting list ticket travel in trains rather choose alternate sources like bus, airways because TC already overloaded with huge incentives and salaries from railways 2. avoid paying bribe at govt offices like RTO,Muncipality, govt offices, etc for simple comforts 3. Always drive the vehicle with handful proofs on the road to avoid paying traffic police 4. avoid paying passport officer 5. dont pay tips at hotels, service centers, brokerages. I may miss some points but following above steps would change the mindset of people and slowly corruption ends.
