There are so many ads I hate , I mean to the point of going into a homicidal rage that I change the channel once I hear the first part of the sentence and I change the channel. Well one time I changed the channel just in time to hear a important tip! How about you? What do you do when an ad you loathe shows up?

Usually when commericals are on i switch to another show i might be watching. I keep two shows on that i like to go back and fourth when commercials are on. Im not a fan of watching commercials and they bug me and usually just something silly anyways im not into. Changing the chanell is the only thing im left to doing when a commercial comes on and i am watching TV. I hate when im watching a movie on TV and a commercial comes on to.

This reminds me of my boyfriend who sits with the control in his hand. As soon as hears it is a commercial he is flicking the remote. He drives me nutty with that because he will watch 4 programs simultaneously just to avoid the commercials. I can't keep up with him and oh my does he sigh big time if the commercials run way too long.

I don't change the channel, I usually just hit the mute button. There are a lot of commercials with really annoying noises in them, and with my sensitive hearing, they drive me absolutely crazy. I usually have my hand on the remote, so I can hit "mute" pretty quickly.

Of course! I totally forgot about your keen sense of hearing. Forgive me. What annoys me most is visual so just muting won't cut it.

When I'm watching TV properly, which is on the bed before dozing off, I would have the computer on my lap. So, when the commercial starts, I would usually tune it off. That saves me the headache of hearing what I don't want to hear. Life of a multi-tasker.

Today, there is something called DVR (Digital Video Recorder) or TiVo. You can always record any favorite shows and watch it any time. When you watch one, you can skip through the commercials.

Isn't it wonderful? Sadly most of the shows I see are live.

I think commercials should be removed from all TV shows. To me, when a commercial comes on, I am basically finished with that show. Once my concentration is broken, I give up on it. Thats why I watch the movie channels. No commercials and I can enjoy the movie in it's entirety.

Well, I could always just pause the movie I am watching and take care of what I need to. Thats whats great about Directv. Yes, some commercials are funny, but for the most part, they are very annoying. Also what I can't stand it that when a commercial comes on it is 3 times louder then the friggin show itself. They should make a channel just for commercials.

I think so, this way when you want to see some of then funny ones, you can just go to that channel.

Change the channel..lol. I sometimes go do something else while it's on too. My b/f is a channel flipper so I hardly ever watch the commercials anyway.

I think this is why they are getting more gross or more offensive, trying to get people to stop and watch . But all they did was make me be more like the boyfriend, I change the channel faster than the speeding bullet!

If a commerical comes on I hate I do of two things. I either get up and go to another room for a minute or so. Then there are times I just change the channel. Example: Any Lebron James commericals! I really do not like the guy!

I also do the same, changing channels, but except one disadvantage, like we will forget to change back to the last channel, if something going interesting in a different channel, we will be tend to stay on that and never think off going back..this happened lot of times to me, where I even lost some of good movies climax :)
