For some its a fun night to dress up crazy and give or get candy, party the night away, or scare their friends and family with stories or silly tricks. For others, its also a religious holiday. Whatever the reasons you celebrate it, are you prepared?
with only 6 weeks left to go, it might be time to plan that party, event, or whatever you like to do.
What will your plans for this year's Halloween be?

In FL, we have a lot of Halloween happenings! I went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in 2008 and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom last year (dress in grunge clothing). I might go do the latter again or do the event closest to home: Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Since both HHN and HOS don't allow costumes and are somewhat too intense for me, I'm likely vying for MNSSHP if money allows.
As for costumes, I'm going to be a rapper or a highway. Both are easy costumes to make - both just need shirt and pants (rapper: shirt, chains, baggy pants; highway: white reflective tape, black shirt). I'm going to a party where virtually everyone dresses in costume.

Universal Studios Florida and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay both don't allow costumes for their Halloween events just to not befuddle patrons who are actually the actors. The Magic Kingdom, on the other hand, allows costumes for theirs, but they have to show the face and be family-friendly.

Halloween is just over two weeks after my birthday so it's always something to look forward to. I don't celebrate my birthday at all anymore, in fact, I don't celebrate anything other than Halloween because it's the only holiday that's fun!!!
Of course celebrating Christmas is nice, but Halloween has always been the best, at least to me :)

well happy birthday a bit early then. And yes, I pretty much ignore most of the other holidays too. I feel that Christmas and the like are way too commercial these days so I avoid them at all cost.
