It's amazing. I have found through my genealogy research that some of my German ancestors in New Orleans put in 17-hour work days before they would rest (the bond between a German and his work was a rather mystical one, I am told). As much as I love work, I don't even know if I could do that much day in and day out as my brain gets overstimulated from sensory overload pretty easily.
Even eighty hours a week is a lot. I myself work an extra long number of hours - as does my father these days as he is learning the ropes of the stock market in addition to his regular job. It really is draining and rewarding at the same time.

working 80 hours a week CANNOT be good for you.
put it this way, there are 24 hours in one day, and it is recommended that we get atleast 8 hours sleep a night.. that leaves 16 awake hours.
then there are 7 days a week, which multiplied by the 16 awake hours a day, gives us.. 112 hours of awake time a week [if you follow the reommended sleep time!]
which means you have been working, for 80 hours, leaving you only 32 hours of free time.. 32 hours, the amount of hours most people actually WORK a week! and then have 80 hours free.
not good my friend! cut back! what's the point in the money if you don't even have any time to enjoy it?
