Toxic Day at the Office!

I feel for you. There are times that you feel like you're drowning at the office. And it's not helping that your supervisor is breathing down your neck. It's been a little like that here at the office, too, and like you, I'd like to throw something at somebody! If only I could. It's good what you do - taking some time out to take a breather. Sometimes when we're very busy, we are not aware that our breathing becomes shallow. So, a deep breath in and out will be a burst of air into our system (good for your brain).

Don't worry I think we all have one of these days now and then lol. Believe me mines was firday last week. One of branches got Rob and so they were close for the rest of the day. That branch was close to ours and so, all the usual customer at that branch came to ours even some businesses. The line was nearly at the door.. Then we had 3 drive thru lanes open ands you can imagine. One teller for the drive thru there transactions aren't as complex. 2-3 focusing on the lobby which seemed like a good amount but believe methods big deposits and complex customers slow that line down. Haha.. Well yeah it was like that allllllll day hahaha I made it you made it we are a live

Well it is good you can come tell us all about it. It is one step at a time, one client at a time, one report at a time. I wish you could throw that stapler. Just imagining it may help, though. Have a better day tomorrow.

Sounds like you hate to work there whenever a bunch of customers pour in. Oh well, no one say it is easy to make money though, you just have to suck it up, because you earn what you paid for, and you have to do what they said. That is sucks I understood, I faced such situation in my life too.

I would say go and throw that stapler at your supervisor! Lately i've been just so busy and i had a few days vacation from teaching but still had work to do in the office. Was out of mylot and doesn't feel like sharing anything at all. You had a toxic day, i had a free day but still wasn't happy.

yes, there are times that you could not even go to the toilet and have pee. it's something that i hate with this job when too many people is getting their requirements. but what can we do, they are also looking for their job and this office could only help them process their requirements faster.

don't ask me, everyday i feel that way. i used to try to look another positive side of the job, and distract my mind from the current work and do another work. it helps sometimes.

Whenever we see the number of clients we have to entertain at work or the works to be done , we seemed to be overwhelmed. However, we need to sort them according to its priority. But of course for clients, it should be first come, first serve. Don't get harassed seeing them so plentiful. Like what you did, you can go to the comfort room, and do the breathing technique. It also pays that when breaktime comes, you avail yourself of it. It's meant to be enjoyed so that the employees will feel reinvigorated. The clients should be informed that you need to take a break and they will understand it. Chill, Jazel. . .just think of it nicely and try to smile so it won't hamper you down so well.

I never had a real job or a part time job, whatevs, so yeah never have been in a situation like this. Anyway sounds like you had a bit of a hard day. I hope you are ok and went through all of it smooth. I hope it doesn't get worst than this though. good luck with work and hope you have a nice week.

I feel not happy today becauase of the work.It is boring.Sometimes, I just think what is the meaning of work?

Everybody has that, as long a we part of the work force, being toxic is inevitable, what i usually to is do the best i can for that day for tomorrow is another day, deadlines and lots of report cannot be done with a wink of an eye.
