Today it is so common for people to contact with each other by emails. Do you mind that if they contact you by an email account which is totally free of charge, such as from Gmail, Hotmail and so on? I don't mind it for sure, since I use Hotmail as my main email account

Hi,
90% of my mails are coming to my office id only. Very rarely only I used to give my personal id to others as such the mails to this personal id also comparatively less only. As I cannot access my personal mails from office, I prefer to give my office id. Still, if I am at home and I supposed to get an emergency mail, I should give the personal id also. So, for me both personal and official ids are equally important. But it is advised that having only 1 or 2 ids are ideal than having so many ids with many internet providers as we may not be able to check all ids regularly and if we got limited ids, we may not miss most of the mails whichever is coming to us.
Thank-s

I don't mind at all. I've been a yahoo subscriber for as long as I can remember and I know that the current email I used, I opened more than 15 years ago.

That's right. And I regret the day I deleted some emails in the past. Sometimes, I look into my old emails and they give me a smile.

Hi,friend, i don't care about that at all. What i care about is who are they, not what kind of email account are they using. If we can have a free email account to contact friend, why we try those paid email account, anyway, saving money has no fault at all.

youless,
I do not mind at all.
For one, I am a Gmail account holder myself along with a host of Chinese web mail accounts as well. These web based email accounts aren't that bad at all considering their amount of storage space and other related services like a digital photo album, personal storage space for various format files and many more.
It is also restriction free as compared to email accounts allotted by our own local Internet Service Provider (ISP) which will tie us down to the company when we depend on these email accounts.
And as for accessibility, I do not think the ISP emails are that user-friendly when compared to these free web based email accounts.

Hi, youless. No. I don't mind at all. This is a free email service so that means that I can create as many free accounts as I would like to. So, if people decide to contact me through this free email account, then it would not bother me, because I can just use this account as a junk email address. I just would never give them my main email address. I don't want my main email account to be flooded with a bunch of emails.

No..I don't mind at all. I think that we should take advantage of the free communication method. I have got a few surprise emails from people I haven;t heard from in years. It was a nice surprise. I guess there might be cases where a person might be contacted that didn't want to be but they could just fix it where the unwanted contact could go to junk if they wanted.

Of course I don't mind. I don't think many people would use an email account that they have to pay for -- especially when there are numerous free, reliable email services.
In fact, if someone send me an email that wasn't from yahoo, gmail, aol or live/hotmail, that's when I'd be a little wary because those are the main ones I'm familiar with and what I'd expect people to use.

I think it is not a serious matter, if my friends and relatives contacting me by free email address. Even myself, most of the time using the Gmail and Yahoo mail to contact my friends and relatives. For me, most important is, i don't want people to send spam mails into my inbox. It is just wasting my time, to read and delete them. Even myself, i seldom use the paid email address which provided by my internet service.

My internet provider comes with an email address, I don't mind any of my contacts contacting me with any type of free and or paid email. Since they are friends and or family it really does not matter to me.
