Money from myLot

I am new here at myLot and I am trying to make some money. I saw the rules and I know that we are not allowed to say about the calculation method of the income from mylot, but I have a question that I think someone can help me.
Until now, I have made only just a few cents. I wanna know if it is always like this or after something happen (time, number of posts, I don't know and it doesn't really matter) I will start to earn more money. Thanks

You should be able to make between 10- 20 bucks after several months here, at the beginning, you probably will need two to three months to reach that minimum payout requirement, depending on how active you are in Mylot. But once your star and ranking move up, you can make a few percentage point higher than new member from the calculation algorithm.

Yeah, I realize it now. Nowadays I am only receiving a few cents everyday and how the minimum payment is 10 bucks, I will need a lot of time to get it.
I hope I don't need to wait too much time to make a good money, because I really want it!! haha I will try to be more active in mylot, even though I have relatively little free time to spend here. I want at least complete my 100 posts, to get the rank and see if it helps me a lot. Thanks for comment

If you have fast typing speed, you probably can make quite a bit in here with quality posting, but i won't say it is a lot of $$, unless you consider few cents for an hour is fine, this is only for me in general since i have a very slow typing speed, which took me a long time to type a sentence without typo error.

I understand and I have the same problem of you. I can type in a good speed, but english is not my natural language and I am not fluent on it, so I have difficults to think and write, what makes me lose some time.
But I think none site can give a huge amount of money, excepts if the site is your own, because if they give a lot of money for the users, How much can they gain?
Now, I am trying to forget about the money and concentrate my focus on the discussions, because the amount of money is not so good for me nowadays. Thanks for comment.

Generally, your earnings will pick up a little once you have passed 100 posts and have received a ranking star. The higher your star the better your earnings. I still only earn cents per day, but they add up. I have not looked to see if you have started many discussions, but my personal advise is to do lots of responding at first, so people get used to seeing you and interacting with you. When you have started a discussion, such as this one, be sure to comment on the responses. Give a lot of details and really have a conversation. What many people will tell you is that you will not be getting rich here, but that if you come, and you have fun, the money you do earn will be secondary to all the things you learn and the friends you make.

Hi GardenGerty, I'm also kinda new in Mylot. Thank you so much for the information given by you. I just wonder how can I get the ranking star? I saw the ranking star in other Mylotters including yourself. Does writing quality responses will earn you a star? Or do we need to post more comments in Mylot?

When that number beside your name reaches 100 you will see a star. You will also then be able to rate other users. You gain in ranking by posting and by responding. Yes, make sure you post quality posts. Participation is the key to earning and to having fun.

That information about the star are very useful. I always see it on the others user, but I didn't understand what is it for, but I think that is nice way to know if a person is a good one to be friend.
Respond to a comment is too much important in my opinion, not only for the money, but I think that myLot is a social network, so the change of information is the base for this kind of site.
And I've started to see your point about the fun. The money is not so good, like you can do with articles, but is much more interesting and I will learn about too different things.
The refferal system of mylot is a good way to make money or just help a little?

to earn more here the simple formula is write more earn more..generally if want to earn more and quickly then make atleast 20-25 posts every day including responses,comment,discussions.
And always try to be descriptive means always try to pull your responses,comment from 3 to 4 lines never say just thanks ,or thanks for the response always try to make your discussion look like a discussion this is a discussion site and pays according to the quality of discussion.

Yeah, I see that the quantity of posts is important to raise my gains, but I didn't have understant the importance of the quality, until now. But I think that write 20 posts per day will be very difficult to me, because I don't really have too much time, but I think that mylot will help me in other ways, like some informations, friends and raising my creativity side.
Like I told in my up comment, mylot above all is a social network, and nobody likes a response that means nothing. I hope that in the future I can do more posts and improve the quality of it too, with the help of people like you. Thanks a lot.

I am also new here in mylot.I signed up for the bucks,but I found that this site has more to offer.It has almost everything I need.It has a search engine,it is a great substitute to question and answer sites which is really useful.If you treat money just as the secondary reason why you signed up here,you will enjoy everything more.

I think almost all enter here for the money, but, as you said, mylot has much more to offer. All the things that I've learned here and all the different opinions we can find about the same situation is a way to grow up and become a better person.
Nowadays I have already been considering the money an extra, and I am trying to get the best of all other possibilities that mylot offer to me. Happy mylotting and thanks for the aswer.
