Do you still wash a newly purchased underwear or just wear them straight?

I would never wear them first without washing them, because at the end of the day you just don't know whether they've been worn or not. I know that you're not supposed to try underwear on when you're in the shop, but I know that at least some of my friends will try to smuggle them into the changing rooms along with the other clothes that they're wanting to try on at that time. In addition to this, I know that some catalogues accidentally send things which have been sent back to the shop, so it's better just to wash them as it's better to be safe than it is to be sorry.

Yep, I always wash my underwear before wearing it. Never know, it might have been tried on by someone else before. Although it's probably rare for anyone to do so, it can still happen. So I for one would rather not chance it as you never know what might be lurking on there. Happy mylotting!

I will wash them as you just never know. I have worn some clothes without washing them first recently but NEVER do I do this with underwear or a bra. I would much rather wash it, maybe even twice, before wearing it to be safe. Rather that then being sorry.

I always think that many strange hands have held them so I wash them before wearing them. Better be safe!!!

Yes, and I do that all the time. I just think that these items have been stuck for some time in the store racks, and it would really be dusty. And, perhaps even from the manufacturer, it has collected some dust particles, and I wouldn't want to itch because I didn't wash them before wearing.

I wear them directly because I get them from a box, newly opened and neatly folded. It is so nice to wear new ones so I do not wash them before wearing. Of course, after wearing that's when I have to wash them. LOL

I never wear newly purchased underwear even any garments. I wash it first and ironed before I wear it. These items passed in many places,in hand and in machine in the making so I considered it messy.

hi, for me i think there's no problem when we wear the underwear after we purchase it,because i do it i wear my new underwear without washing of it and i didn't see anything bad after i did that.and i think many people do the same way we do.and you're right why do we need to wash them before we wear it.
