I have two friends who are about to give birth next month. The other one really trusts her pedia, so she'd go for normal delivery in the hospital. My other friend who believes that waterbirth could lessen the stress of giving birth would like to try this procedure. I googled waterbirth and found out it's one of the accepted delivery procedures nowadays. Not only it can relax the mother but also the baby. And, you can give birth at home provided you have the needed facilities. Share your thoughts! In this way I can collect opinions, so when the time comes for me too, I can give this a try.

I think that one of the most important things to remember when giving birth is that each woman should be allowed to do what she wants to do. For example, I get rather nervous when I am in a hospital, so I know that I wouldn't want to give birth on a hospital bed because I just hate that setting. If it were at all possible, I would very much like to give birth at home with my friends and family around me; although I know it depends on how your pregnancy goes whether they would allow you to do that or not.

Hi there! Yup me too. I prefer the old ways of giving birth actually. They are still effective and doesn't cost much. Sometimes, even free. So far no one of my friends has tried waterbirth. Maybe it's not available yet in my country.

If i'm going to give birth i'm going to try the water-birth. Its a unique way of delivery and allows delivery in gentle and more loving manner for both baby and the mother. This gives pain relief and less traumatic birth because baby pops out in the water. It gives comfortable and relaxing feeling to the mother in the sense of cleanliness as she get rid all the mess after her birth.

Well I have heard rumours of this but I thought they were just that. Rumours.
But if there have been a lot of babies who have been safely delivered this way, then it means that there are a lot of experienced people to help you should you ever decide to have such a delivery.
