I am thinking about our internet connection. I live in Brazil and here we have only the commom internet conection (like modem, ADSL, cable, satellite...) with a high price and not so high speed. And we have problems of connection all the time.
But I heard that exists some countries, like Japan, where the internet is free for all, with a big speed and I don't know if I can believe it, or it is just in some parts of this countries.
How is your internet connection? Do you know about this free for all, great speed internet?

Hi lctravenisk, I envy very much those who live in advanced countries where the internet connection available there is fast and steady and which is great that it's free Here in Malaysia we have to pay more to get better speed service. Only in two big cities here free wifi service is available in the downtown areas. We can enjoy surfing net freely in all the airports here. The speed at the airport near my son's house is not fast. Anyway the free internet connection is beneficial to people who live near the airport if they don't mind to take the trouble to travel and surf net there lol....
Happy posting

Hi lctravenisk, you and me are among those who rely very much on fast and steady internet connection. it would be a great pleasure for us if we could enjoy all sorts of our favorite activities online smoothly free of charge like people living in countries with highly developed internet service
Seems that the free internet connection we could use in our airport are equally slow

I think everyone should have a good internet connection, because it is a great facility to all people. You expand a lot your knowledge and possibilities with the internet.
Actually, I am not a person who surf lot on internet, but when I am doing it I like to have a good moment, and the slow and unstable connection takes off all the pleasure of surf on the internet.
The connection in airports and bus station are too slow for me, because a lot of people use it, I think. Happy mylotting.

Hi lkbooi. I hope some day we can have the same facility that the people who live in advanced countries. The Internet is a great tool for people to communicate, to learn about the different cultures and to have fun. The freely use of it could benefit all.
The internet of airport and bus station here in Brazil, in some cities are free, but too slow and bad connection. I don't like it.
Thanks for comment.

It is not true high speed internet connection in Japan is free for all, even though the country is filthy rich, the people are still required to pay for the high speed connection provided by the private company. Unless you want to use the slow version of government provided internet connection where it is moving in a snail speed. In most of the developed countries, internet with high speed and lightning connection do cost you a high premium price compare to slow speed connection like dial up services. It is about the same like in Brazil except that you are paying high premium price and get a good service with less drop connection and higher speed. while in developing countries like Brazil, you are charged high price but also received very poor services and antiquated internet technology in return from private internet service providers due to lower standard of business conduct and regulations.

I heard it some time ago, but I really didn't do a research about it. But even this is not a good one, the government at least provide something good for the population. Probably not good to play a game or do a download, but enough to see an e-mail or to do a research for school, don't it?
And like you say, in Brazil we paid a fortune to have a bad service, what make me fell like a fool! I hope someday we could have the same quality in services than the developed countries have, or, at least, an honest price for the services. Thanks for your explanation!

Hello Ictra
I am from India. In India, here now a days, wireless modem and dial up connection is very popular. It is very cheap but not very good in speed. Its usual speed is 10-20 kBps.It costs like 100 Rs.(3 dollar) for a month. But it has also download limit generally of 2 GB.
Broadband is also much effective but more cost like 1000 Rs(25 dollar) and no download limit.
When I was in college, I got free internet those was my best days.

Hi, vikku2001. Your comment is too different from gshyam1247. Probably you are from different and distant places, aren't you?
But dial up connection with download limit is too bad, because you have slow internet and cannot do everything you want! In Brazil, dial connection don't have limit. At least, as I remember.
But this high speed connection is cheaper than the Brazilian. Here is about R$60,00 (36 dollar), in the place that I live nowadays. Free internet is the best, for sure. Thanks for comment.

It is so nice, because we live here in Brazil and I didn't know that India have a so developed telecom area. I've known India have good engineers in electronic area, but the country is so big and has so many people, that I think you could have problems to coordinate all things. At least, we have this problem in Brazil.
Brazil doesn't have the quantity of people that India has, but the telecom area is a big problem, at least as I see it. Even if we think that the next Soccer World Cup will be here, as the Olympic Games of 2016. Thanks for comment.
