Annoying gum chewers!!

This has always been a pet peeve of mine. I can't stand it at all when people chew their gum like cows with their mouth open and you can hear the smacking. I don't know why it bothers me so much..it just does.
Anyways, the past two days I've had class there's been this annoying girl next to me. To me, she seems like she'd be the rude snobby snort because she always looks like she has an attitude. Well, the past two days we've had class she's chewed her gum and made that annoying smacking noise!! For me, it's really distracting because no matter how much I try and tune it out, it's so loud that I can't help but notice it. lol it drives me crazy!!
How do you feel when you see people doing something that's one of your pet peeves?

Me? I usually ignore them but the truth is, I can't help but notice! I also hate when people chew so noisily. My brother is like this and he knows that I hate it when he chews food so noisily and so whenever I'm around, he's careful. Haha! Well, it's for their own good anyway. It's never pretty to have a habit like that to begin with. ;)

Ever since I was little my mom stressed manners and taught me to chew with my mouth closed. I can't stand it when I can hear people eating their food. It's just gross and the sound is annoying. If my boyfriend is really hungry he'll sometimes eat like that and I always say something to him because it's something that bothers me. I feel bad doing that to him but I think it's better to just flat out tell him rather than keeping it bottled up and getting mad at him over something he doesn't even realize lol.

Haha I know! Boys get so confused when they're not specifically told what's going on. lol That's why I'd rather be straight forward to him so I don't just blow up one day and he thinks I'm some sort of nut

Haha! That's good that your boyfriend clearly knows why you got mad at him than keeping it all and burst like a volcano one day and he would be frightened saying, "Why? What did I do? What the heck happened to you?" Lol!!

What bothers me is when people smack while eating. Loud smacky eating is to me what gum is to you.

lol that's also something else that bothers me, especially if I'm also eating. It just grosses me out and I don't need to see or hear what someone is eating

I chew gum, but I try to be discreet about it. Usually, I would only chew it when I'm driving, and I would need something to make sure I don't doze off.
When I see people chewing gum with their mouths open, I am always reminded of goats. Goats seem to be chewing all the time, as if they have gums in their mouth.

I think it's a very rude gesture from those people and it shows that unfortunately their education is quite limited.Anyway,we don't have to be very smart to understand that there are gestures who can be really annoying for those around us,we just need a little common sense and it's very easy to avoid causing such unpleasant moments top others.Unfortunately,some people don't have that common sense,and their reckless actions can indeed drive us crazy because some things,like that person's chewing gum with the mouth open and smacking,can't be tolerated forever.I guess that eventually I couldn't stand it anymore and I would have a very serious discussion,even an argument with such a rude person.It's the only solution with such people,otherwise they won't change their annoying behavior.

I find it very rude and unnecessary when people do that, especially in a classroom or public area like a restaurant.
It's fine to do it in your own home, but when you are in public, you should refrain from doing such things as it's considered rude and obnoxious behavior.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone lies to my face, and I KNOW for a fact that they are lying! I can't stand it!

Yeah, it's fine when they do it in the privacy of their own home or car or whatever. I sometimes find myself chewing gum like that but it's extremely rare. It is rude to do that in crowds because it can be really obnoxious to some people.
Lying is also another one. I can't stand it when people lie period but usually I think it's really funny if I know for a fact about something and then the person lies to my face about it!

Haha that's really annoying. That's why my school bans chewing gum, it's simply rude to chew your gum with your mouth open when someone is talking to you. I reckon people who chew gum like there's no tomorrow have quite an attitude and they think they're so cool. I remember lining up for the canteen and this little girl in front of me was chewing gum. Her mouth was so wide, I could see the ugly chewing gum swirling in her mouth. It's alright if you keep it closed by showing it to the world is a big no no. The girl was so annoying and the squishy sound makes me cringe!

Oh gosh I would not be able to stand it. I would at some point give her look like man you are driving me crazy. The ones that pop their gum too are much more annoying.

My pet hate is people who eat loud, it winds me up so much sometimes i have to get up and go away! It really does annoy me, especially when it is something that is not even a noisey food like a yogurt! How the hell can there be any need to chew yogurt? arrgh!
