Have You Had Any Experiences With Ghosts/Spirits?

Have you personally ever seen a ghost, spirit, apparition, etc...? Or, had any strange happenings in your life that you believe to be caused by ghosts or spirits?
There have been a few things in my home that I thought were quite strange, and could have been caused by a ghost or spirit. Such as seeing shadows, towels being jerked off the towel rack, mail flying onto the floor from the mail holder, etc...

I've had plenty of experiences that I can't explain. I've been slapped on the back and I've been poked and no one was there. I've had stuff disappear from where I knew they were. One summer we bought about 4 hammers cause they kept getting 'misplaced'.

Wow, four hammers!? Lol, that's kind of funny. If that happened to me, I'd probably end up throwing one of the hammers at something!

Yep, Chicksdigcars! It made the hair on my neck stand on end. It's one thing to 'feel' someone standing in back of you, and you turn around fast and no one is there... and then it's quite another to actually get slapped by that unseen person who is in back of you.
When I moved here, the door bell kept ringing and no one was there. It would be the front door most of the time, but sometimes it would also be the back door. That went on for months... and I asked for them to stop.. and they did... and then they started in on the living room light. I told "it" to GO! and it did. I have not had any experiences with any door bells ringing or lights flashing anymore. My daughter thought it might have been Maamaw who used to live here... not sure if it was or not. But I'd had enough!

i believe there are alien but not ghost or apparition,but the things happened at your home,in my opinion,it is not strange,maybe just the wind blow it to the floor,as for the towel,maybe the towel rack is too smooth so that the towel slide down,lol,anyway it's just my guess

Lol, there was no wind! And the towel didn't just "fall down"... it was literally jerked off so hard the towel rack made a squeaking/rattling noise!

Oh my that sounds scary. I personally have not, although I have in the past heard unexplained noises. Some say that if we believe our homes are haunted with ghosts that we are suppose to scream out loud for the ghost to go towards the light. They say a ghost is a soul who somehow lost its way. Not sure if this does it but this is what I have heard from some of my elders. Also some go to the extend of having their homes cleansed in situations like this. I hope I never experience this because i would be doing all I hear to get rid of them. I would be too scared to go about the home, thinking it was haunted.

Yeah, I sometimes get scared in my home. I do not like walking through the house in the dark, because that is when we see shadows and stuff.
I usually have someone to turn on the lights before I will go through the house to the bathroom at night, lol.

I personally am very aware of the energy around me. I have seen several spirits and my house is full of energy at many times throughout the day. I am not scared of what is around me, I embrace it and have learned to live with it around me.
I am also happy as I feel my father's presence regularly around me, which brings me calming sensations.

Aw, well you must have "good" spirits in your home then. Some people have "evil" spirits in their home that they'd rather not love with.

i don't believe in the ghost because for last 21 years am staying at opposite of semetry.i didn't see anything till this time.i have heared lot of stories and friends have said that they seen something near of my home.i believing only on god.god has positive and negetive power.

That is creepy lol. But, i have had a couple my self like, someone sitting on the edge of my bed or my bed would vibrate, i have no idea what causes it. There are no trains that cross the town that cause such a thing. I had some one or something put their hand on my shoulder lol. It's just something you can't explain you know?

Yes, there was this heavy and noisy door in the school's bathroom that I always clearly knew someone was coming, it was no doubt and this door never changed. But that day it didn't make any noise still someone run the water and I was alone when I got in, it freaked me like hell.

hi angelee honestly i never saw one or i do not have any experiences but i love to watch an horror movie and my imagination works but i didnt still saw or had an experience they just tell me some story ,

My dad was working in a womans house, tiling her bathroom, and the man and woman were downstairs in the living room. The next thing my dad seen a little girl in black running up the stairs to the attic! .. he thought nothing of it and assumed it was the man and womans grand-daughter! .. before he left, when they were paying him, he said I seen your grand-daughter upstairs earlier but I didn’t get to say hello. And the man and woman looked at each other and giggled and said to my dad, we have no grand-children, it was our little lady in black you seen! And they told dad that a little girl in black has been running up and down the attic stairs ever since they moved into the house.. she was a little ghost!! And my dad is NOT the kind of man to believe in ghosts!

I don't have seen any ghost or spirit beacause I don't bilieve in it. But I have heared from many peoples that they have seen ghost.

I don't find ghosts or spirits frightening. they're just a part of life.
I was raised in a family that practices Witchcraft, and if we saw things, no one ever made us feel like we were imagining or making them up.
in my teens I trained as a medium, and I've done some paranormal investigation. unfortunately not as much as I'd like, as the group I'm involved with is not based near me, so I can only make the occasional trip for it.
