We are all so busy. There are many things that we have to get done in a day. When do you take out time for yourself? Perhaps to do things that you enjoy, or to relax. For me It's usually late in the evenings. I get online work done. Tidy up the house. catch up on some reading that I enjoy. I never before cared for being third shift. But now it's more of a necessity in order for me to get things accomplished and have time out of the day for myself. That's when everyone is sleeping and I don't have to be worried with taking care of their needs.

Hi Dominique25, it's true that there are lots of things on both offline as well online to keep our everyday life really busy. Therefore it's nice if we could have our own personal time per day or per week to do some favorite things to relax from the eterssnal chores, routines and schedules....
I always grab a little time after havig breakfast, after back from part time work and before bedtime to amuse myself doing my favorite habit like watching movie, listening to music, playing online game for a little while. On weekends there is no work no kitchen chores. We mostly eat out and we have considerable time to spare for having leisurely outdoor activities amongst the greens I love enjoying healthy outdoor fresh air together with my family
Have a nice day

That is a good time to relax. Doing things that we enjoy and love makes doing the daily things easier. When we are able to do these things we will better prepared to carry on with other tasks. It is so nice to cuddle up on the cough with a blanket and good movie.

Yeah Dominique25, it's so simple and easy to get relaxed just to entertain ourselves comfortably doing something we enjoy at home like what you like to do with your cough, blanket and movie This shows that you really know to enjoy authentic relaxing life
No matter how busy our schedule is, we should spare at least some time to relax ourselves after a hard day work. It would be great if we could do some favorite things that could ease our tiredness and get us relaxed daily

For me it is the mornings as I am usually working second shift. So it's early morning until work, or after work that I take time out for myself. On my days off I spend all of my time online, just relaxing and coming here as well. When it comes to other offline stuff, I do that in between.

I don't work fulltime, just part time, though I wish I did work fulltime. I don't have anytime for my friends, even working part time because they are always busy or I am always busy. Trying to stay in contact through facebook and texts though.

I'm glad that you are able to make time for yourself. Working fulltime takes a lot of time. So making time for yourself is a good thing. Weekend are great. For me all my family is home and so that means taking care of them, and doing things that they enjoy. So I get my free time when everyone's sleeping.

The library is absolutely a great place to go. I love it. It is so nice that we can get books, music, and movies and all for free. It is a great resource and I use to go there practically every other day. Now I go less than that but when I'm able I have a load of books and things for me and my daughter to keep us busy.

Umm... maybe when i go to the bathroom? Right now I have no time for myself. Between my 2 kids, cleaning and fixing my house,my diabetic dog,and my husband, I don't get any time for myself. I figured out yesterday that I haven't had an hour to myself(without cleaning or checking on kids) in over 2 years. I used to get 30mins free when the kids take a nap. But now they refuse to sleep at the same time... hopefully they give me a break today, but I doubt it...

Oh, I hope sometime soon you can get a break for yourself. I can imagine how busy you are with two kids. I only have one and I think that is quit enough :). I hope no more surprises for us. She's four months old and between taking care of her and everything else it is a lot. That's why I can only get free time in the late and wee hours of the morning. While she is asleep. And it has been a long time since you have had a break for yourself. Perhaps your husband will surprise you with a little free time for yourself in the near future. That way you can go out with some friends, for a few hours. If he doesn't think of these things, perhaps you can give him a little hint. I know my husband doesn't think of things like this.

I'm glad that you are able to get free time for yourself. Sunday is a good day. For us it's usually a calm day as well. Either we stay at home for the afternoon and evening or go over to my in-laws. Either way I enjoy my sundays.

Hi Dominique25
Yes its true is is going very difficult to take out time for enjoyment. But I still manage to hang out with my best buddies on Saturdays and Sundays .
If these Saturdays and Sundays would n be there then I can't imagine what would have happen to me.
But when again Monday repeats itself then simple routine starts again.

I'm glad that you take saturday and sunday to hang out with your friends. It's a good thing to do. Weekends are absolutely great. When we are able to get a little time away from work and other pursuits that have to be completed during the week. Enjoy your weekends!

Evenings are my times, too, although if I haven't got everything done by the end of the day, I don't have much time for myself. I think that's an old age thing, though...
I usually take time to do things I want to over the weekends and I shouldn't be complaining because most of my time is used doing the things I want, even when I'm working.

It is a wonderful thing when we have work to do that we enjoy. It makes a lot of difference in how we view our time and what we are doing. And whether or not we are enjoying ourselves. I'm glad that you are able to do work that you like. Thanks for sharing.

I have my free time of the day in the evenings or sometimes during daytime. Since we work on houses and sometimes we don't have the money ready to buy to repair the house, we have to miss work that day. Also, when the house is done we we are looking to buy a house to fix and sell, that's when I have the whole day free. Other than that, when we have a house to fix, I only have the evening and the whole weekends free. Haha.

I'm happy that with your busy schedule you are able to find free time. Fixing up houses involves hard work and can take up a lot of time. So keep making free time for yourself and enjoy.

I think that I have a few minutes about every six months or so. No seriously, I think that there are just many days where there is a never ending stream of things to do. Things that I want to get done but I cannot completely get done. I think that I am done for the day, but the next day, an entirely new mess of items that I really need to do.
That is just the nature of life these days. There are going to be a lot of things in the world where we are going to really have a lot of things to do for sure. Where we are going to do a lot of things, to get them completely done. That is just the nature of things in this day and age. I think that free time is something precious and I do have a few minutes every now and again for sure.

I think you need a vacation :)! You sound like you are so very busy with literally everything. In some ways though that's a good thing it shows that you are hard working, consistent, and that you have goals. It will pay off for you in the long run if it hasn't already. Keep up the good work, but do something for yourself some time soon, lol. Thanks for sharing.

I do try to take out time for myself. After doing my day job and an hours rest I go on and spend 3 hours on my online job. After that I watch the shows that I love on television and when I feel sleepy I go to sleep. It is usually week ends when i have plenty of time to spend on myself. When I shop for groceries I enjoy this by doing some window shopping on the side.

It is great when we are able to make time for ourselves. It is nice that after your day job you are able to have fun and earn online. I too enjoy window shopping. It is nice to be able look around and see things we would like to have.

I'm still in school in my senior year now so each time I get a small break, I make sure I will cherish it because I know the next day I won't be able to have my me time. After I get back from school, I have dinner and then I relax for about half an hour just with my radio on, relaxing on my bed. But I get this nagging feeling that I got to do my assignments and homework.
At night just before bed, I spend some time on Mylot of course! After I've done doing school work on the computer. I always save some extra spare time for some free time online.

I'm glad that you are able to make some time for yourself. It's really important. Being a senior and everything that is required to finish up school can keep you pretty busy, especially if you are preparing for college and other avenues. Glad that you are able to save sometime for mylot.

School can be tiring and stressful. Especially having a lot of homework to do. I'm glad that you are able to get a little rest, and then go out and enjoy your day. It makes a lot of difference during the school year.

I seldom have free time, while I answering here I am waiting for a customer and cook in between. My only real free time is when I am on vacation, I should say, some vacations. Because if I stay in my house in Hungary I still have to work. Also: with kids you always have to work day and night.
At the start of the new year I will book my vacations for 2012 so I have more free time and as I hope it's for me.
Before I loved to stay up in the middle of the night too or very early in the morning because then it's nice and quit but since I already have very less sleep I try to catch that first now.

I hope that you are able to go on your vacation. You are a very busy person and need a little time for yourself. I hope that it's the vacation that you need and will enjoy. I too look forward to taking a vacation in a year or two. Right now though I have to be busy with work and taking care of my family. I do a lot of work online and a little outside the home. My first responsibility is to my family. I have a precious little girl who is four months. She is such a sweetheart. So she keeps me very busy throughout the day. And I do work at night and have a little free time. I think that giving her quality time and attention is important. So I try to make sure to get things done in the evenings or while she's napping so I can be with her. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

My free time is after 7 PM every evening as well as mostly on weekends. Occasionally there is a work related event during the weekend that I have to attend, but most often I am free on Saturdays and Sundays as well. Good time for keeping up with the house and getting some rest and relaxation.

I tend to try to make free time for myself. I work until 6 in the evening so I pretty much come home and take a long bath as time for myself. It gives me the chance to just relax and focus on calming my nerves then I can do things around the house that I need to do, but I try not to make it an all evening things. I pick up things do a load of wash or vaccum. It helps keep the house clean without having to spend too much time in one day doing everything at once.
