Money is so hard to come by these days! and when you have it the next thing you know of it's gone! and yet there are still so many things to pay.. how I wish I have lots and lots of money so that I can buy all the things I want for me, my family and who knows I might even give to charity these are just dreams... money is always not enough.. whether you have lots or less of them the effect is the same.. you still need more... and the vicious cycle of always in debt.. how can you end this!

YOu are absolutely right sammy. Even I often spend my money in shopping, eating and other various activities as soon as I have money. And when it is finished, I realize
that it would have been better if I could save some.
And the next time I get money, I again spend it something useless.
The greed for money exist in each and every human. Even the richest person in the whole world has this feeling, I think.
We should be satisfied in whatever we have and should not greed for more and more.
By doing this, we can satisfy our inner greed for money.

I do agree, it would be nice to have enough money, to not struggle all the time. I do believe that the more money you get, the more you spend. Things cost so much now, I don't know that there is a way to end it, except to live without the high priced things.

I think money never seems to be enough because, aside from inflation we tend to spend more if we earn more therefore ending up exactly how we were before the long awaited pay rise. I do believe that in order to get out of the debt and credit card trap is to change the lifestyle and learn to live within our means which is not easy in this day and age.

yes paula.. sometimes you cannot blame other people from wanting to have more money because of the high prices and if you dont have enough money then you deprive yourself from other things. but I agree with you that change of lifestyle would help you out...

Hi! Been there done that! :-)
Ok, first thing I'd suggest is for you to take a breath--a DEEP one! Next, is to either think or write down everything that is in your mind and figure out is it really a need or a want? If you write it down, organize it in some way and cross it off when you're able. This will take some discipline and time and you have to be willing to stick to it.
If it helps, put what is a want on Amazon Wish List as it would help people know what you're looking for (Christmas). Don't be greedy when you do it though.
All this will cut down that vicious credit card debt. You HAVE to stick with some plan that works within your budget. Don't put more on there than what you can pay. If you are truly in need of something...say an interviewing outfit or a new computer, look for deals and figure out when it is realistic for you to obtain it. Also figure out how MUCH you will use it. Do you watch What Not to Wear on TLC? They have talked about mileage out of clothes; if there is a dress that costs $750 but you only wear it several times in the year, it's not really worth it. Whereas if there is one that is $150 and it really looks good and you wear it either day or night....it's worth the money.
All I am saying is control the impulsive spending. It works and you'll feel better for it.
Be well!

I don't think this struggle for money ever ends, but it does get easier if you can put some aside (even a little) on a regular basis. As a Zen practitioner, I do not get over-concerned with money and have always managed to stay detached. I worked hard throughout my life and accepted money for the work I have done, but through meditation practice, I have lost the hunger. I have recognized that I cannot always get what I want in life, and to go with whatever karma presents me with, is a much more relaxed way to be. _Derek

Yes, it is true everybody needs money. The poor needs money and the rich needs more money. How I wish too to have much money but how, I have been working hard to earn money but still I need more. There are those who have money because of some misdeeds but to me I want hard earned money. But sometimes I do buy tickets for some big wins.

Money is funny. There are two really weird sounding words. SAVING and SPENDING. Just think of how weird those two words sound for a minute. Seems like people all over the world are having such a hard time with money. One day i was sitting with a friend. We got into a discussion about money. I asked her why dont they just print more money? She said because theres not enough gold they have to have gold to back it up. I asked her why? She didnt know but it just does. I bet nobody knows why? Did all the leaders of the countries get together and deside not to print money unless there was gold to back it up or what??? or did they agree to print so much every year???

The only way to end [ or stave] the vicious circle [ to me any way]is to budget your money I know it's not easy...I have been doing this for years...and sometimes I fail to keep my budget but then I get back on track again!...sometimes it's only require to give up on some thing you don't really need like a cup of coffee when you are shopping or a magazing you buy weekly or even the news paper you buy every day! at the end of the day you probably saved quite a bit of money which can go into paying your bills at the end of the month...you see people tend to think in cents and that is where we go wrong! a few cents spend today may not seem that bad....but at the end of the month those cents spent willi-neelly would[ and make] a difference to your budget.

That is a fact of life.
I think you can cope with it by daydreaming about the day when you have a lot of money.
Such daydreams make you feel much happier and hopeful.
i think you can spend just a few minutes daydreaming about receiving a few million dollars, and then spending the money to make people happy.

I know that making money is harder than spending it. Spending money is pretty easy to do because you can waste it in whatever you want. I think the best thing to do when earning money is to try and save it by putting some in the savings and some for things that you really need. Or maybe put it in a safe box with a lock. I am the same way, its easy for me to waste money.

THe first thing is to live within your means. No credit cards. Save for things and not use credit. If you have a big bill try to make it payable at the second part of the month and save from first check of the month and the second instead of taking it all out of one check. Buy in bulk when you can. May sure you getting your shots so you aren't getting the flu and missing work. Be sure to strengthen your immune system so you don't get sick. Lots of ways to save on food. Like making soups and casseroles some nights to ecconomize. Find ways to save on the power bill in the winter time. Find free activities in the community. Find ways to bring down your bills. Like checking into insurance at other companies or bundling. See if you have any treasures in the attic or the cellar that you can sell. Have a yardsale to make extra money. Recycle.

Yes it does seem like money is not easy to come by but oh so easy to spend it. Sadly it is getting tougher and tougher for a great many people these days. Seems like when we think we will be okay something else comes up that takes us back a couple feet.

I'm afraid the cycle will never end, even if let's say that one day we'll become rich,we'll still not be satisfied and want more,or at least that's what I suppose it happens to most rich people because I have never been in their shoes. For us making money represents a daily struggle that will probably end only when we die.

Hi sammy14
Money is a greed not need Everyone who gets money in hand looks so satisfied that if now anything will happen he would see that. And yes it happens money in today's world is not called money it's called power. Who has maoney is powerful and is able to to do things which interest him.
nobody even curse the guy\girl who have money .
I imagine a non money world everything would be so smooth.
