Movies or TV serials

Hello friends.
I have been watching movies since i was 2 years may be all of you too.But there is a new craze of American TV serials like vampire diaries, Lost, Prison Break and a lot of other interesting one.Now I am more fond of these TV serials as they are more time pass because they have larger story.They show every detail as they have more time to finish their story.But some times it take too much time to reveal their suspense instead i like it more than movies.What about you??

yeah..i do follow some tv series..like HEROES.. SMALLVILLE... a few others..
i usually miss a lot of tv nowadays.. busy with work and stuff..

Hi rafiholmes, I also loves Heroes unfortunately there's no more new season for Heroes, too bad. vikku2001 sorry if u get offended but I'm not agree, yes movies can wait but not for TV Series (which air in local TV broadcast). Once you miss you can never had it. It did happened to me and I'm very frustrating when I missed it coz when missed one episode it will be not enjoyable to watch. But somehow work is work.

Where as I know that almost every TV series is available on internet.We just need to download it.It takes a lot of time but as in my case I always watch downloaded TV shows when the full series is uploaded on internet.Because in my country we usually see local shows while I like American shows very much.So I download it somehow and then enjoy it.When the season is completed,there is no problem of waiting a week for next episode.You can also search TV show which do you like.

Hi vikku!
For me, I love both. I love movies because they are short and you can get everything within almost two hours. Plus, you can watch it in big screen. Of course, the only bad side to this is sometimes you are left with a cliffhanger which makes you want some more. But there are just those stories that are only made for movies.
TV series are different. I love them, too. I like Supernaturals, House M.D., True Blood, and others. These are made for television because their stories has to explore a lot of different angles, a lot of different sides so we can appreciate it more. Imagine a movie of Vampire Diaries, everything will not be explained within two hours. The bad side for series is that sometimes, the writers would not know how to end it. Sometimes, it's bad, sometimes there is a twist in the ending that turns away from the original story, sometimes it's good.
Still, I love both movies and television series.

You're probably right about Supernatural. Still, I love the series and I'm waiting for the next season to come.

I agree with you that both have different tastes.Both are good But the only problem with movie is that when we like it,we want more and there is no more.You also said very true that ending of some seasons are not well written like I liked Supernatural very much in its starting and till 4th season but after that they are just stretching the story.

I love watching movies but I really like tv shows better. 
I like waiting for the suspense it is like a craving inside me that really gets me going when they cut a show off for next week. I would rather watch a tv show because if you think about it movies are about 1 1/2 hours long where as tv shows can be about an hour each episode. After they give you about 22 episodes you have just watched about 22 hours of that same story and you seem to get more detail and greater thrill of relationships and the intensity of those relationships forming like Elena and Damon in vampire diaries.

Yes it is always TV shows makes more suspense than movie as it reveals that in next episode.But I don't have this problem as I usually see downloaded TV shows that have all episodes of the season.Vampire diaries is one of my most favorite shows.Damon has done brilliant,his dialogue are very interesting also his looks.I love Elena and do you know that third season has started recently.Are you seeing it?

Oh yes I am right on top of it, I love damon. And I love the fact that Stephan ran off, that gives more room for elena and Damon to form a better relationship maybe even a personal one. Hopefully.

Me too . I like more serials then the movies because they keep me busy when i have time to spend.One movie can keep my atention for 2-3 hours , but serials are larger and I`m always looking forward for the next episode.I`m huge film fan but the serials show actions in details. My favourite serials is Chuck,Eureka and Prison break . IF you haven`t watched them yet, you should, because you`ll really enjoy them .

yes, I also like TV serial for this reason that it has more episodes and it passes my more time than movie.Great movie doesn't come always but there is always a new great TV show that can pass your 20-25 days if you watch it daily.Prison break is also my favorite.Rest two I haven't seen.

Wow u watched movies since 2 years old? Amazing. I'm more into TV Series doesn't matter it is reality or drama I just love TV Series. I don't know why I'm just not into movies though some of the movies are good to be watched but I just don't attract to. Only few of them I watched, not in cinema but at home ok. I guess I know why I'm not really into movies. It is because it takes too long to finished, some of them takes 3 hours and it makes me feel I waste too much time sitting just watching. While TV Series only takes 1 hour or half it makes me feel I don'r waste too much time (in a day). I love American Gladiator, UK Gladiator, Australia Gladiator but they only lasted 2 seasons only so bad.

Hahahaha, it's reality program anyway. I don't know why I just love it. I think you should watch it, hahaha. I hope I can downloaded it like you say but I have done some research and found there's no downloaded version.

Yes it is true that i have been seeing movie since I was 2 although I didn't use to understand all.I used to just like the action in movies.But now I also enjoy TV shows much more that movies.Stories of TV shows give us more time to enjoy it while movie just end in 2-3 hours and you don't get good movies daily.
Sorry but I have never heard of American or any Gladiator, I have seen only a movie named Gladiator that is Oscar awarded.

I used to be a movie addict, going to movie theatres atleast three times a week. Enjoyed all kinds of movies. But, these days. no time to spend at the theatres. So, when I have some time, I would just sit in front of the TV and watch the TV serials. In fact, I very much prefer watching the movies, more detailed and more comprehensive.
