Why most people gives this impression that "the rich" is evil while "the poor" is always good? Have you notice? "The rich" is always blamed. They were not sympathized by most people in the society. Most society believes that "the rich" gives "unjustice" to "the poor". "The rich" is always blamed for being greedy and "the rich' is always blamed for being corrupt, powerful and so on, while "the poor" is always sympatized by the society and society has this impression that "the poor" is always doing good and "the poor" is not being greedy in terms of money, and so on.
Even in some TV drama series, "the poor" is always been abused and "the rich" is evil who gives "unjustice" to "the poor". "The rich" acts as if they're the antagonist while "the poor" is the protagonist.
I know some people who were been victimized by "the poor", but they were not heard. The just kept quiet. If we asked them, they would not tell us and they pretend that everything is alright even if deep within them, they are emotional unstable and can't move on because people look at them as "rich and powerful". They are strong "outside", but "inside" they are so weak and they knew, no one would protect them in terms of emotion because people perceived them as "rich and powerful".

Great question. Truthfully, I haven't the slightest idea, other than we live in a society where victimization begets glorification. So people are always trying to prop up a victim for whatever purpose it serves.
I see that you're from the Philippines, so I can't really speak to the culture there. In America, however, we're really getting heavy into the class warfare.
I readily admit that some "rich" people are scum. Those crooked and greedy folks dumping chemicals into people's back yards, those shysters playing roulette with mortgages, those high-powered CEOs and other company heads getting into bed with government and intentionally shutting out competition so everyone profits - they're certainly bad people in my estimation.
But most wealthy people are hard-working, self-made, and have shown ample drive and initiative to get where they are at. They have studied hard, went to school a lot longer than the average person, showed great motivation and innovation in starting businesses, hire people to give them chances, take out loans by the hundreds of thousands and go into debt before making a profit, assume gargantuan risk in a lot of cases, and on and on.
In another discussion on myLot, I pointed out that a business owner really has no security. People were complaining that part-time employees didn't receive benefits and didn't have job security. Well, if the owner of that business loses his or her business, what recourse is there?
Most people who are rich and powerful made themselves that way. If the market crashes or something else happens to cause them to lose their money, then they're forced to start again.
I think it's all just propaganda. There are many people throughout the world who truly believe that the person who works for his or her money is obligated to share it equally with people who do not and/or cannot.
I hear a lot of people griping and moaning about their job not offering benefits for them or not paying enough. I do not sympathize with most of these people. Maybe the truly needy, but not the able-bodied person fully capable of doing more.
When I got tired of working bad jobs, I quit and started working for myself.
We only get one go at life. We cannot afford to waste time wanting people with money to suddenly start doing more for people without money.
I see nothing wrong with most rich people. I've personally never met anyone with money who hasn't had to earn it.

Well Done matersfish
I have nothing left to say after reading your comments about the question and I admire it without any doubt by saying, I learn a lot from your response because I also being a part of those who was thinking the "Rich Are Evil" but the way you elaborated the whole situation it is extraordinary and i have to rethink about my previous thoughts about the subject.
I am good and fast learner, atleast I think so I love to follow you in the future as well. Cheers

Hello Introvery
I liked you question very much.Yes, it is absolute true that rich is always looked in a bad way by others while poor get sympathy. It is the human nature that they show more sympathy to poor and helpless. And i think is not bad that people do favor to poor else sometimes rich hasn't did anything wrong to poor.
I think rich also have sympathy to poor so why they will do anything wrong with poor instead they help the poor by giving them job.
But still it is very good that poor got more favor.

I also observed that kind of situation. "The poor" got more favor because they were abused by "the rich." This is also a result as 'first impression last' in the society.
Some good rich people were involved and blamed even if they didn't do evil acts because of the 'impression' of rich is powerful and they can manipulate anything and so on.
I heard a story from my school when I was still studying that a new student was accused of raped. They're rich and his dad was a 'politician'. The word 'politician' is a negative feedback to some people because some 'politicians' are corrupt.
The four of his classmate that were in the lower class and who did the rape accused him as raped. His parents can't bear the accusation of their son, so they pay the victim to make peace and to end the accusation, but still this new student was expelled even if he didn't do anything with the girl.
The boy suffered too much mental and emotional unstable. The rich family reputation was ruined and the boy was traumatized because of what happen to him.

I feel sorry for that boy.It happened very bad to him.I think He should have tried to show his innocent. There must be any way to proof him innocent if he didn't do anything wrong. The girl who was raped, what did she say?May be she must be with the truth. He has not done anything wrong if he is born in a rich family.

Not all people who are rich are evil, but a good majority are because money gets to people's heads. People believe that all of the sudden they are super powerful and can get away with murder because they have money, and some of them do. People who are rich forget that that money is a gift.

Sorry but I don't share your opinion or at least what you hear about rich and poor people. The poor people here don't have a good name. It's always their fault they are poor, low educated (they are too lazy), the are criminals, a-social etc etc.
I think we human beings have stigmatas for every class of our society, every race, about male, female, gay, moslim, etc.
There might be a small part of it true but it doesn't mean that all people are the same.

Its already stuck in every people's mind that THE RICH are strong and powerful, coz of course, they have so much money. So thats why many people perceive them as evil. They thought that because they have money they can control everything. I dont think those thoughts would still change these days. The problem is people think that what is true to some is true to all so they think all rich are evil. I believe not all rich are evil.

Hi I-Shy. I agree with you. It is so typical for the media to break the image of the wealthy. Like you said, the poor would always give the impression that they are downtrodden, pathetic, abused and all that stuff. I so dislike it! I am sorry if i am being too harsh, the reason why people are poor and remain poor is because they are just plain lazy! There was one story ive heard. A reporter asked 3 children on what they want to be when they grow up. The first kid said that he wants to be a doctor so that he can cure the poor. The second kid said he wants to be teacher so that he can teach the poor. The third kid answered, "wow that's easy... When i grow up, i want to be the poor!"

I think rich people are rich because they wanted to be rich and poor people are poor because they wanted to be poor.
It is the law of attraction which works everywhere. One gets what they really want. If one is rich and he/she want an impression of the evil in the society then he will get it but if they want it other way then that another will happen with them.
So I will not stick rigidly to your statement because I think it differs from person to person. There are rich people who are very much respected in the society and also treated as the God sometimes.

Hi Introvertshy
Yes i liked the question that You arise . This always happens. I don't know why people had created an Image in their mind that rich is always bad and the poor is always good.
I think the main reason for this is our society which had shaped it.
Also nowadays many poor have started to take out opportunities for them.
for eg. If you hit a car to the poor then they demand for so much money to keep their mouth shut when even the mistake is of poor too.
Everyone should think of it deeply.
