any good deals to stay at singapore for 1 week?

I am planning to travel singapore,malasyia,kaulalampur in this decemeber. if any one know about the best deals please share it here. I have seen some deals at makemytrip.com but those are expensive.
if any one know the ideas to get stay in cheaper way please post it here.
Any also share your expoeriences .

Hard to get any good deal in Singapore, it is a city state where every thing is expensive and costly. You probably can't save much by planning to stay in that tiny dot island nation for a week, may be the youth club or YMCA hostel with share bunker bedroom will cost you lesser boarding expenses.

YMCA is expensive. It's not true that everything is expensive here; if you are a local or foreign worker working here, you will probably know some places that sell cheap stuff. Incidentally, I am a Singaporean and so I am not making things up.

Wow, can i ride there for free?ha ha..0 i wish i can go any where...but no money.ha ha..
i have not traveled yet in any place and i wish i can.. i have no ida about what god place you can go to but it depends what on your mind or will,what you thinking about place,,,.Happy in advance trip...

Hi gshyam. I was born in Singapore and reside here all my life. I do not really know how much your budget is but this are some deals that you could check out as it is one of the cheapest way you can travel here.
Hotels are mainly expensive so an alternative is hostel or backpackers hotel. The cheapest you could get is by staying in a dorm with other traveller. At here, http://www.thehivebackpackers.com per person,per night is S$24.00.
For flights, you can check out the budget flights that lands in Singapore from Airasia.com, Jetstar.com or Tigerairways.com. To get the cheapest flight, you have to book a few months earlier. I usually Airasia offers a cheaper price, but you should compare first before booking.
For sight seeing, use the public transport and ask for packages when you reach tourists attractions in the island. Usually there is special prices and packages that you can get.
For food wise, check out hawker centers as an average meal for a person is about S$5.00.
We have buses that goes from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur daily. I am not sure how much it cost for this.
