Does anyone has earned money online through Paid To Uploading Sites

I have recently joined a Paid to upload or share sites called Uploading.com(similar to filesonic,hotfile etc) but I have no idea how to earn more from these sites. Since it pays me for every download my uploaded file gets, I will need a huge number of people to download my files.
I had heard there are some websites where we can post our links from which people can download my files. Do you know some popular ones
Please give me some methods or tricks for earning from these sites.

I can't say much since I don't know what kind of files that you being uploaded. 
Anyway, generally speaking, the most effective way to get a lot of downloader is by posting it on popular online forums.
Make sure that you make a great preamble before sharing any links, and make sure that the reader would like your files.
~for example: don't share your cooking recipes files on online making forums or so. :D
Posting your download link on social network would be another good alternative too :D

Hi varier, thanks for your respond. It gave me some ideas on earning by uploading files through my uploading.com.
I upload files like anti-virus, videos, celebs photo collection, software, games songs and so on.
Can you please suggest me some popular forum for each of these items or at least few of them. It would be really helpful if you did.

Im not interested to join that site..for me that not good in your computer maybe this will be bringing a virus in you computer. passing of other computer. ok we can say you earn in that site what if your computer shoutdown because a lot of virus u uploading. Maybe your earn in this site its not enough to pay computer technician.

Zhawee, I appreciate that you are not only thinking of your benefit but also think of others.
I have a very secured and save PC which I regularly scan with an updated Anti-virus. There is no chance of being infected by a virus. And also, uploading.com as an auto virus checker, which scan for virus on each uploads. So no need to worry for me as well as anyone who downloads my file from it.

Woah! I was just googling sites that pay you to upload and then I just stumbled onto this discussion. I took a look at Upload.com and then I left it because I'm not really sure how it works. I joined a few others but it seems I have to share my links in order for people to actually download from me. Each time I uploaded something, they would give me a link and I need to share those links in order to let people download from it. I thought but simply uploading, the site will promote your links for you but it ain't that easy. I wouldn't want to waste my time with these upload websites.

You will need to find a way to promote these files and remember that some people may not like the fact that you upload their software,movies,music,pictures so it is a little dangerous and can you really trust those websites that they will pay you ?

you can earn only if others download the file which you have uploaded....
