Has Anyone Been Watching the News About the US Day of Rage? OOps You Can't,

It is not in our news is it? You have to read the foreign news or USDayofRage.org web site to read anything about it. Or, you can read the tweets about it. You can also read the Gov web site and read all about the fact that it is bad bad Americans doing this. Interesting. I have been watching this coming for a few weeks. The Palestinian web sites have been organizing their part in it for weeks. ACORN has been organizing their part in it for MONTHS. I think I remember who supports ACORN do you? Yeah, they still have not disappeared...google them. If you read the tweets on the web sites you will find all kinds of tweets in arabic, you will find statements like: yeah, we closed wall street today, we won. Americans would know that Wall Street IS closed on Saturday, right? Hmmm. Then there was a statement that said: Down with deodorant, makeup, and toilet paper. Who do we know that does not use these things? Especially TOILET PAPER? Hmmm. There was another tweet where a lady asked a guy what his 'sign' was...he had no clue. It may have been a fluke, but I doubt it. Another scary thing on the tweets was the references to Social Security to "Ponzi Schemes". As this is repeated over and over, it gets drilled in to young peoples heads. The same with it being called and "Entitlement Program". Social Security is neither one of these. People have PAID Into Social Security. It is not the DOLE like Welfare and Food Stamps. It is a Retirement Program like a 401K or even more so. It was just mismanaged by the Government.

I had heard rumors about this over the last few weeks and wondered whatever came of it. Nothing much, I guess, since the news media isn't even reporting it. I hadn't thought of the absurdity of them "closing" Wall Street on Saturday, though! Social Security is far from an entitlement program, but the government has run it like a Ponzi scheme. It's not the fault of those who pay into it or the recipients of their own money. Down with toilet paper? I knew there was a reason I'd been saving all those old catalogs...

It is going on. So far, the only state that stopped it where it was planned, that I know of, is Idaho. It is not in every state like they originally wanted it to be, but it is in a lot of them. The next one is planned for October 6 to cover the states that did not have it today.

Do you think that it's making as big an impression as they thought? Some of the rumors had it that there would be huge riots and dangerous situations for citizens. One even recommended that people should leave the city for the day. Is it really just a minor thing, or is the media suppressing information we should have? Any more, it's hard to tell just what's going on.

Considering it is not really Americans involved except for maybe ACORN followers, no I think it will flop in most of the places it was planned. But, I cannot find information and the news is not reporting it at all. All we have is what their web site is saying and what is being tweeted, and we do not know for sure who they all are or if they are even Americans.

This is all kind of funny because it has fail written all over it they won't be able to stop people from entering the building or leaving the building. So this is Fail I am surprised because of all the fail that this op has. I mean really you can't legally stop people from entering or leaving a building. I think we are quickly going to see what happens when the inventors and thinkers are kicked out of society. Maybe we will see Atlas Shrugged.

I do not find this funny. Do you realize that the Gov. has completely censored our news on this subject? How do we trust any of our news now that we know that this is possible? What inventors and thinkers are you speaking of?

The media doesn't like to report a lot of things so that part really isn't news for any one that has been paying attention like Ron Paul is clearly the leader in pretty much every poll that has come out yet the media discredits him. In the debate before this last one by CNN the poll on line during the debate showed Ron Paul having 80% of the vote and yet CNN used a poll of 54 people to say Ron Paul won 0% of the poll. To bad for them people all around got screen grabs of the poll so CNN got shown as being just like the rest. As for the inventors and thinkers I am speaking of are the big and small businessmen and women that these groups are against the country is very anti intellectual. Which will lead to the stupidification of the nation. The people are beginning to trust the government to solve the problems that capitalism has already solved on many other occasions I am referring to the great minds behind our most common tools to the inventors of things yet to be undiscovered or yet to be capitalized on. We may see what happens when these people decide to no longer work no longer invent and progress of the world stops and starts to move steadily backward. We may see what the world is like if atlas shruggs

When Rage Against the Machine did it a decade ago, Wall Street closed down early. You would think those who support Ron Paul would support this movement, as Ron Paul is anti-corporatism.

I was not 100% sure about that until I started seeing all of the weird tweets yesterday. I had to use a translater to read the PA stuff and I do not always trust the translations.

You mean the day that parents are shuffling around to soccer games, baseball games, and whatever other games their children might be a part of? That day? The day when what Netflix movie to watch gets a bigger argument that what type of Pizza to order? The day when no one cares about politics unless it somehow invades their tv screens? Hmmm.... Yeah, like people don't know that Wall Street is closed. My guess is that the only reason they made arrangements for a Saturday is that they wanted to self-declare themselves winners. Apparently, even ACORN members have to work on the weekdays. Yep, this has been a real success. (Read heavy sarcasm in that statement.)

Actually, they are supposed to come prepared to camp out for weeks. They are supposed to come with tents and apparently there will be Port-O-Lets arranged for them or something. I doubt they will last that long unless they are all on the dole. How could they stay that long otherwise? I have another link with live streaming coverage. I do not know how long this will keep streaming. I got the link from Al-Jazeera, as it is the only news media reporting anything... http://anonops.blogspot.com It was a working link a few minutes ago because I watched it for about 15 minutes. It looked like a lot of folks were heading somewhere in NY with backpacks. Of course NY always has a lot of folks on the street. There was a foreigner commentator and there were non-English speaking folks all around. I still say that this is not an American event. Another item about the tweets. There was a lot of talk about Che Guevara which I found very interesting.

Huffington Post is a large disappointment today - not any coverage on this historic movement.

By the way, the kids in tents in NYC parks are not Tea Party people. They are the spoild brat kids of Left Wingers. You can tell by all the trash all over the place and the filthy language on the signs. When the Tea Party has a Rally, they always leave the area neat as a pin...always.

I forgot something...The Tea Party People do not hide behind masks and scarves on their faces either. They are not cowards. They show their faces and stand up for what they believe.

i have never heard of the usdayofrage or acorn or any of this and no offense but you have not done a very good job explaining it or making much of a point in my opinion so are you trying to say that the arbics are scheming against the americans? or is it the americans that are saying down with deodorant make up and tolit paper most americans are attached to these three luxury things so i dont think an american would say something like that but i just dont see why an arabic would say something like that i mean its not like we absolutely need deodorant make up and tolit paper theyre comfort items but its not like we would die without them
