you had already made 2933 to your name which have many discussions and replies. You had quite a no of experience i think you didn't need to ask these questions as it is for those who have lesser experience you had quite a long period of experience at mylot.
Any way i ans that what i know till now
user + against your discussion and replies then your satr rting will go up if they - then it so down it all depend on it so if one want to have a good rating consier following things
regular model practice:
just try to right relevant facts and good topic so that user goo attracted to your words and vote you + also try to bring the new things which one not aware of
reply to other dicussion in such a way that he she think it a good ans to what i supoosed to be. Also try to get much closer to the what user is asking. If you don't know about topic don't reply it will be better. Give good anf true fcts and news and information not one that is half know to you.Alwayd reposnd to your reply and reply on your discussion.
another way of politiness:
With polite word try to grab good remark on friend and users.
Never use hard word against the user while responding
also if your cutting something sid cut in such way that user feel that you are right and realise mistakes and it will make your impression good on him.
many thing are what we do in our life play politics of sweet words

Hi spiderlizard!
The star is based on your ratings. You are rated by other myLotters. Every discussion, response, and comment you post are rated by other myLotters. If a lot of people rated you +, then your star will change in color and get a higher number. If you are rated -, then most likely your ratings will drop and the star will change its color and the number will decrease.
Just continue posting quality discussions and responses to get higher ratings. Be sure to respect other myLotters' opinions and ideas. Be sure to follow myLot's guidelines.
Good luck!
