Is there any history in your country, which until now still be a mystery?

In the history world, words is a representation of the
past and the past became the scene from history itself.
History is always told and drawn back through the language on the basis of information that can be obtained about the past, and therefore will always be lacking, incomplete and require repair.
Because of this reason, generally the historian said that history always open to different interpretations, and can always be rewritten. But this does not mean that we are free to interpret and rewrite history. There are basic principles that limit the freedom of interpretation of history: a foothold on the known facts or reality based sources of information available and can be tested. Not all information about the past can be trusted, and historians armed with scientific methods and procedures to check the reliability of history materials at their hand.
Is there any history in your country, which until now still be a mystery? in Indonesia there is a very complicated history to described and until now still be a mystery. The history it is about the coup "G.30.S / PKI". Who knows how long mystery this history will be revealed .... ????

hi,
i think my country had that mystery that until now not yet solve or give any explanation,and this was start when world war 2 came,that all Japan kept their golds and the yamashita here but no one could still find that golden yamashita,and that is still mystery until now.

I think in Philippines we have histories unrevealed, especially in Mindanao...

Historical evidences and sources have their limitations ,only scientific or archaeological evidences are not sufficient to find out all mysteries of past , historians and archaeologists try to take assistance of literally sources and myths and epics to reveal historical facts but some times those resources don't match with the site materials ,because of insufficient resources many hidden questions are being came out ,these controversies and historical questions require proper research work and excavations .
In Indian history there are many controversial historical places and events whom might have not given any answers yet, mostly ancient Indian history badly affected with the lack of proper study resources and materials,specially vedic and later vedic age and dark age history after the mauryan era from 184BC TO 250BC have many hidden unanswered questions with many unidentified places and treasures are still awaiting for proper excavations and diggings.
