Are you amenable to the so-called "The Buffet Tax"?

A lot of us here in myLot are in one way or the other engaged in internet marketing business. We also know that there are already a lot of internet marketers that are already quite rich and successful in this sort of business...we can named a few I guess such as Mike Filsaime, Russel Bronson, Frank Kern, Chris Farrell, Ewen Chia, etc.. and me as well, uhum...(okay I was just having wishful thinking including myself on the list.) Now these people have earned their name and the 5-6 figure income they get each month. They're millionaires in their own rights and business. Of course, we also got Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Warren Buffet..who would have not known these famous billionaires in the world huh?? Well, in the USA (for those who haven't been there and who don't know how their tax system works), if you belong to the rich, the millionaire level, you pay taxes less than the middle class and the poor (at least that's what I know). That's probably one of the reasons why Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump wrote a book entitled "Why We Want You To Be Rich" (haven't read that book yet by the way). Now recently on the news, President Barack Obama presented his intention to propose the Buffet Tax on millionaires. The Buffet tax refers of course to the billionaire investor Warren Buffet who wrote a statement earlier that people like him often pay less taxes than those who work for them due to the loopholes in their tax code. You can read the news here http://news.yahoo.com/obama-propose-buffet-tax-millionaires-225402476.html Personally, this is a good proposal. I mean come on, the rich paying less taxes than the poor? However, some people disagree for whatever their reasons are. For people here in myLot who are serious enough in their growing internet business, your success direction (given a few years of hard work and dedication) is upward and towards the same status of success as the people mentioned above. You will all be millionaires soon. So are you amenable to pay more taxes than the middle class people?? What are your sentiments on this issue?

I have no problem paying my fair share of tax. If I was a millionaire or a billionaire, I would gladly pay more tax then the middle class and poor. I also like the idea that some politicians are talking bout, the flat tax. I think that would solve everything. I feel that would remove all the loopholes in the tax system here, and it would make it so that everyone would pay a fair share. I think Warren Buffet is a smart and reasonable man.

I do not believe in punishing people for working hard, smart or hard and smart. What I think people fail to see with Warren Buffet is that the man, living in his bonus years, is simply attempting to make amends before his days are over. There are some people who get to be over 70 and then decide to give away their wealth as their way of saying thanks to society or as hope they will make it to heaven.
