If one speaks to Him in prayer and He answers the prayers, what more proof does one need? If one has questions that only God can answer and then finds a book inspired by God that answers all his questions, what more proof does one need? If one sees the abundance of life on earth and marvels at the intricate design and variety, what more proof does one need? If one sees the potential on mankind and the earth and then reads what God is going to do, that the planet will eventually become a paradise with men and women living in peace and unity as brothers and sisters, what more proof does one need? If one has so much goodness in their heart and then reads that he is made in the image of God, a God of love and justice, what more proof does one need? If one glances at the sun for a split-second and grasps the immense brilliance of a small star that is 93,000 million miles away, does he really think that he can see God with his physical eyes? Food for thought. All the best!

So 1hopefulman you say God exists but you cannot give any concrete proof. You haven't seen him yet you say that the world and everything in it is proof. As I always say if God existed I wouldn't have a life where I have always faced difficulties, developed epilepsy, struggle with severe asthma, been made redundant 4 times, have no money, have no job, have no prospects for a happy, succesful future. If we are created in God's image and the world is a just and happy place, why I have suffered so much?

In my own views, some of the disease are hereditary. Everyone has given a free will to do everything. Maybe your ancestors or maybe your parents didn't take care much of their health that's why you adapted that disease. About money, just like in story I forgot what the title was. The three sons have received their inherit equally. The two sons make the money grows by making businesses and this one sons, what he did to his money was go to the bar and drink a lot with girls and have fun with them. He even had children with those girls until one days he had spent all the money he had and nothing left to him. That's why his families were living in streets then. That's why there are rich people and there are poor people. About no job, people don't have jobs because of themselves as well. You cannot blame that to God. Those are the people who don't have a dream and are lazy to find a job. If you got more questions you can visit this site. http://www.gotquestions.org/

Hi smilingjack! Thanks for reading my response. “Has god ever actually talked to you ? Or does he answer your prayers only with vague signs that are open to interpretation ?” I have never heard a voice and it is not important to me to hear one, as communication can take many forms. When I read the Bible, I can see God’s personal interest in me, as my questions are dealt with and I can see that He knew what I would ask and He has already placed all the answers I need. Other things are not as important and I have learned the beauty of patience. Since I plan to live forever there is no need to hurry. As far as I’m concerned the answers that God gives to my prayers are very specific and I have no doubt that it is his answer. If you have not experienced the same results then it is your problem and not mine. If two people are both taking in some sun and one gets burned and the other doesn’t, what can I tell you? Does one know something the other person doesn’t? “Well I have a lot of questions an all-knowing being sure could answer, yet I don't find any book inspired by god that tells me where my remote control is.” Sorry about that! Maybe you should try a different approach. “And you can't see the true beauty of the universe while being blinded by religion, that answers the rest of your "the world is beautiful, therefore god" stuff.” My religion helps me open my eyes a bit more so I can see and appreciate even more beauty. “And this "look at the trees"-level of argument is really weak too ...” I love trees and have no problem with them. The tree is amazing. Thanks God for making so many of them and also the variety of fruit trees. “But yes, the great chinese teapot of the sky has created a beautiful universe, doesn't it ?” If that’s what you want to think, all the best! I am not here to change your ways. “But I really have to chuckle at you believing that God is a God of love and justice. And since you like to look at the world you should look a little bit closer.” You have the right to chuckle. Yet, I have seen that there is a lot more going on this world than many are aware of. You see, there are different ways of looking at the same issues. Thanks for sharing yours! Take care!

So no one can give any actual proof of God then? Yet it is mainly religious people who shoot me down when I say I believe in ghosts, the same people that say ghosts do not exist because they haven't seen one. Doesn't make sense does it?

I don't ask people if they believe in ghost or not but I believe in ghosts and paranormal. Are you sure that person is a religious or just pretending to be one. Sometimes some people pretend to be religious even though they're really not.

The person I weas referring to is religious and I have found the only people that shoot me down for my beliefs are religious. Why I will never understand but that is what I have always found

I have never seen love either, but I believe in it. Why do you have to see something to believe in it?

Yes, I believe in God. It's really hard to explain why we believe in God. You don't need to see Him to believe just like William Lane Graig said. "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence." William Lane Craig What I can only say is that God works in mysterious ways. My faith become strong the moment I feel Gods works for me.

Do you have seen the oxygen you breath? But you believe that oxygen exist? There are enough proofs of his existance.

Hi rbose621! If you ask me why I believe in God that I haven't seen, I can say that I don't have to see God with my naked eyes in order to believe in Him. This is because I felt His presence in my life. He is within me, constantly guiding me in my journey with this life that He has lent me. Although I cannot see God but I can feel His constant presence. Every time I wake up in the morning and see the dawn and the sun peeping out I cannot help but be awed at the wonders that He created. Every creation is shouting of His name. And every time I watch my husband and kids sleeping, I feel so blessed and grateful to God for this gifts that He has given me. I can feel God's love in my husbands embrace, my daughter's butterfly kisses. I cannot ask for more. And I believe with all my heart that there is a God.
