Are you content with your image in the video?

yesterday,a friend of mine recorded a video of herself. when she watched the video, she said she hardly can bear her own image and her own voice in the video. I comforted her that it is well. and in fact i cant recognize any difference of her image between the video and the reality.
Actually,i dare not record a video of myself, because i dont want to see the image of myself in the video,either. hehe, it is a big hit. it is so ugly.
why? do you content with your image in the video?

in fact i am not content with not only videos of myself but also pictures of myself, even the image of myself in the mirror. hehe.
it seems that at least you dont hate your image,because you can see your image by any approach,such as video,picture and mirror.

yes,the same feeling. but,to others,the voice doesn't change.
In fact,we should be more familiar with our own voice than others,because we listen more absolutely. Interesting but strange.

When my husband would secretly record a video of me and the kids, I would not like it. I could not stand him doing this. I usually would not look so hot. My hair was all messy and I was not dressed into clothing that was not suitable for a camera. I don't mind being in a video, just as long as I am dressed up nicely with my hair fixed too.

I haven´t been on a video for a long time so I cannot say. But since forever I don´t like my own voice when it´s recorded. I thing that if I heard it more often, I end up mute

The first seeing my image in the video hurt me deeply. hehe. At that time, i swear never to take a video of myself any more later. In fact,until now I hurt myself again and again. hehe. it is a memory. isn't it?

Yes I am pretty ok with what I seeing recorded videos of me. Only the thing is, my voice sounds so weird, not like mine at all. But when I go and ask my friends or family, they say I sound like that all the time

yes. To others, the recorded voice and the real speaking have no difference and sound same. To ourselves, it is weird even if we hear our own voice every day.

I don't mind having my face video taped or recorded because it's no different compared to how In or others seem my appearance. The only thing that distracts me in a video is my voice. When I talk, it sounds nothing like it in the video, I sound really dreadful! I'm actually not sure if I actually sound like that in front of others. I just think that technology alters your voice a bit and makes it sound really different. I don't like listening to myself, it feels kinda weird. A video image is quite fine but the sound is a problem for me.

To me,both video image and voice of myself make me uncomfortable. hehe.
By what all friends responded, it seems people are more dissatisfied with record voice.
you thought it may be a technological problem. But in fact,to others, they cant find any diffenerce between the recorded voice and the real speaking. Only to ourselves, it is weird.

hi, i dont mind taking picture of my own self but I dont like if other people taking picture or video of me. I think because I know the best angle in me thats why Im more confident taking my own image. If other person taking picture or video of me, I would not check the video because Im not content to see the full body of me, I usually only look good when it is only half body or face only hahaha so I dont like to see the video of me.

I do not often watch myself on video so I am not sure but I do know that I detest the sound if my voice when it’s been recorded. To me it sounds like someone else although everyone tells me that it is definitely what everyone can hear all the time! I asked my husband and friends what they honestly think of my voice and they all say that it is fine so they are all either lying or it is true that it is indeed very difficult to hear or watch ourselves for some of us!

We can hear our own voice every day and dont feel any uncomfort. once recording it, we are unfamiliar with it and uncomfortable. it is strange.
but to others, they really cant distinguish the recorded voice and the real speaking even if they come from the same person.

My images in the video is not different, but my voice is different. I think my voice is changed via phone or video.

I don't know. I take all the videos around here, so I'm not in any of them. But if they are anything like recent pictures I've seen of myself, I don't think I want to appear in video format. I don't much like my image since I've gained weight and my hair has turned completely gray. I prefer to take pictures of others.

I am glad to take pictures of scenery and figures. At least others are still content with my photographing technology.hehe
Anyway,as an important memory of different periods, I still take photos of myself every other period of time.
