I think obsessions are more dangerous, because if someone is obsessing about something bad/negative, they can't break out of it. Ideas can float free and be passed around, to be picked up on and enhanced/modified whereas an obsession is focused blindly and immovably on one single thing.

Obsessions are very dangerous because they are impulsive and illogical. Ideas, on the other hand, are derived from the normal processes of the brain and can either be accepted or rejected.

Humankind would be doomed without ideas. I can not see how having ideas would be dangerous.

Ideas can be very informative and energizing where obsessions can get you into all kinds of trouble. Obsessions are out of the norm and is usually going to turn out bad or nearly so. I would say the obsession is the most dangerous. Obsessions are usually extreme and intense.

I think obsessions are more dangerous than ideas because they can control a person's brain and soul and they can do a lot of harm not only to the person which is controlled by them, but also to those around that person.I think ideas can be sometimes constructive and beneficial, but if they turn into obsessions they can ruin a person's health and even lead to insanity,so even if I appreciate people with new and interesting ideas,I have to say that too many ideas aren't good, they can lead to obsessions and there can only be a thin line between obsessions and serious mental problems.

The word "idea" connotes a positive impression while "obsession" connotes a negative impression. I think obsession is more dangerous as it is a form of 'sickness' that which is beyond the norms. Ideas are healthy thoughts and inspirations.

I'd say that ideas and obsessions both don't need to be dangerous, they can also be very helpful and bring peace. But when I look back into history of science for example I'd say that ideas are more dangerous. Some people had the idea to build the atomic bomb. Now if that isn't dangerous, I don't know! As for obsessions, some dictators are obsessed, too. And we all know how much damage they can cause. So obsession comes right after idea I suppose. The worst could be a mixture of both though. Someone being obsessed to destroy the world having an idea how to put his obsession into action or using other people's ideas that could make him cabable of doing so.

I think obsession is the dangerous one, cause it can be determined like ambition, it'll make you done it whatever it takes... in other case idea is a patron of result from well think...

i think obsessions are more dangerous than ideas. when you get ideas its something that, lets say, can be changed and there are tons of ideas that get on your mind in one day. like what to do in free time, what theme about to write here, and so on... so on... before you do almost anything you get couple of ideas on what way to do like writing a test you get a ton of ideas for how to do it. cheat? learn? copy someones test? bla bla... but thats now a way with obsessions. when you are obsessed with someone or something you only think about it. if you get obsessed with some superstar (usually) people are used to love them watch their every metch, spear tons of money to visit every game, concert, match, whatever... or if its something you want to achieve... you do almost everything to achieve your goal, there are people that would get their friends and themselves in danger to achieve it... and that leave consequences in life. so think again and ask you self: whats more dangerous...

Depends but in general obsessions are more dangerous since they usually involve Obsessing over other people!
