don't be shy, share two or three if you'd like. my favorite memory, right this moment, is as soon as i met my fiance. it's the first thing that popped into my mind. our story is so ridiculously cute that it makes my heart melt, every time i say it, cos i really don't think i deserve him. :) he drove 6 hours to meet me at my mom's house in arizona. i couldn't see where he parked, and i was looking all around and he made sure i kept looking around cuz he loved the way i looked :) then he finally told me, i went in for a hug, and he kissed me really hard. i was taken aback by this, soooo stunned. it was super cute though, now that i think about it. we were going back to his hometown, and we stopped at a rest area to cuddle. then i rested my head in his lap while he was driving and fell asleep. i felt him brushing back strands of my hair and generally cuddling me. it was the safest, warmest, and best i ever felt. and the feeling's not gone away a bit. :) how about you guys? can you pick a favorite moment of your life?

my favourite memory is when I was still in high school, I met beautifulest girl that I've never seen before... then when I'm in library, not long she's coming, I just look at her eyes, she look back and come to me then she said "what are you looking at?" with smile- I can't say a word.,

oh, i had such a time when i was in 8th grade! don't feel unlucky! (well of course, you CAN but...!) feel lucky for the times you had! don't put them in a negative view, tell yourself at least you had the experience and the good time :) and be excited for the future! you never know what's going to happen, and isnt that exciting? you are in for so many more good times :) just depends on how you view it.

My best memories are too private to put on a public forum. But some of my best are of my son. He was like a man in the way he said things, even when he was four. That is, in fact, when I met him. The social worker thought he was nonverbal just because he didn't like talking to her, but he had no problem talking to anyone he thought was interesting or who seemed interested in him. One of my special memories of him is when he was about four or five, before I he moved in with me. He had wandered over and knocked on my door, as usual, when he saw I was home from work. I was cutting up veggies in the kitchen and invited him in. He was shorter than the breadboard I was working on, but was right there with me watching everything I did. I was cutting up a green bell pepper, and he asked me what it was. I told him and asked if he wanted a bite, and he did. I popped it into his mouth and he told me it was good. I was amazed, becasue so many children hate vegetables they aren't familiar with. After that, I'm not sure how soon after, we somehow started a little game. When he wanted a taste of something, he'd come up to me pretending to be a little mouse. He'd say "Squeak!" and then stand there with his mouth open waiting for me to pop something good into his mouth. I sure miss that little follow. You can read our story at http://www.squidoo.com/how/i/became/a/foster/parent . Keep your tissues handy. Most of my memories of Jason are very special. It's not often a mother and son learn to love each other before they are mother and son. We were friends first, before he became my son. We finally got to adopt him.
