It's really wrong. Your decision to leave was right. I also gamble sometimes but it's just for fun. I never intended to gamble just to earn for it's too risky. There's a 50-50 chance to win and lose. So if I were you I would just stick to your first decision to leave. Or maybe you can gamble but not with the intention of earning. Just try to relax and have fun. Don't try to gamble money you can't afford to lose.

I really like to bet on sports and play poker. Some people think is wrong, because it seems that everyone have a sad story about a relative that lost a lot of money betting. But, the main rule for betting and gambling is: only bet what you can afford to lose. If you are able to follow this rule, you are able to be a professional poker player, because bankroll management is the key. If you don't have patience and discipline, then the best decision is to not gamble with money.

This is what I have learned also: only bet what you afford to lose. I have read a lot about betting and this is one of the golden rules. I don't like poker, but poker is not only a luck game.
I am a person who likes to bet a lot, but with small amounts. I don't really follow specific strategies, but I guess over the years, I have became a more disciplined better, which makes me have some small winnings. I am in the process of looking at betting as an investment, as a good way of making money.
I don't need to be greedy, I need to build up the basis slowly and if everything goes well, in a period of time I will be able to make a certain monthly income from this. At least, I hope so.

I feel there is always the huge risk of losing lots of money, and I would never want to take that risk. To start with, one needs to know the tricks in the game, and I do know have that skill. For people who have the skill, it may be right. But, for me it is not right.

Betting is dangerous when you are taken away. If you do it just for fun, it is a vice, which is better than smoking or drinking. It adds extra excitement to the game and is making them more interesting.
There are plenty of betting strategies, and with a right documentation you can really make good bets.
If you are not greedy and you do some research, betting can be a good income. It took me a few years to realize it and I still need some more concentration for not to be carried away, but I notice a great progress in my betting style.

Betting might work even if you can`t be sure you will get your money if you earn a nice amount but gambling online is something you should stay away from. It`s pretty hard to earn some money on a real casino but on an online casino it`s impossible.

Omblues:thanks for your post.As we all know, there's an old saying"ten gamblig nine loser" which alert us that gambling is not an rational way to earn money. Once you engage in gambling without control, you will find you indulge yourself in it.As a result of that, you'ii find normal life is gone, everything change a lot: you escape from your better-paid job,pay no attention to your lovely family, make yourself so depresssed and want to go to casino all the time, ect.
Look, waht a serious respond gambling make! So,just give up the idea taht regarding gambling as a fast and highly lucrative way to earn.
However, people who take part in gamble would enjoy themselves and have a lot of fun as long as you can preserve your sanity. All in all, evergthing has two sides, you must judge and weight them in sensible way.

I think that it can be a good thing as long as you don't get too carried away if you should win some money. I do something called matched betting, and I can make a fair amount of money from doing this as long as I work out the odds so that there's no way that I would lose either way. I also play bingo, which I guess is gambling to some extent, but I am in profit by far with that at this moment in time so I don't think that I am too worried about it. It is only a problem when you lose control of yourself, so as long as you remain in control, I should think that everything should be fine for you.
