What do you have ON your refrigerator?

I just call it "The American Refrigerator" and would like to start a collection of what people have ON their refrigerator. I was at my mother's yesterday and one can't even tell what color her refrigerator is! It's totally covered with photos of our family, past and present. Us girls at all ages and cousins, aunts, uncles and the like. There are also photos of friends that we've known over the years and all across the United States! I had followed in my mother's footsteps somewhat over the years with a collection of items on my refrigerator. Some were photos of the family and pets, others inspirational sayings and encouraging notes from my daughter. As well as the notepads with magnets behind them for me to write my grocery reminders on. Just recently I got a new refrigerator and was tired of the clutter. Now the only thing on my refrigerator is the instructions on how to feed my dogs and my bird. I leave it there for the caretaker for when I go out of town. I'd love to hear what you have on your refrigerator! And even shoot me a photo if you can do so!

I have important phone numbers, like the doctor, vet, sitter's etc. I have the week's schedule of meetings and appointments. I have a grocery list, and a list of what is for dinner on what nights. Near the bottom is a set of farm animal magnets that my daughter plays with when I am cooking.

You sound so very organized! The list of what is for dinner is a great idea! If you've seen my other questions, I cook dinner every night for a 90 year old man. That could be my Sunday project, plan the whole week's meals and post it on the refrigerator, getting all the groceries to accommodate it in one trip! Thanks for the tip!

My husband and I are both teachers and between meetings and taking work home, we have to have a plan. when it is written down we remember to make sure we have the food for it, and we go out to eat less.

The best things on my refrigerator, in my opinion, are the kitchen timer, and then two little file type things. They provide a place for favorite recipes, box tops for education, pencils, pens, freezer tape, markers, etc. There are also tons of useless advertizing magnets that hubby brought with him when we got married. No pictures, as I would be worried of them getting dirty. I could put them in plastic sleeves and have them that way, and maybe I will do that.

For my family, we have magnets on our refrigerator, along with a magnetic notepad that we use to write our grocery shopping list.

We have lots of cola and beverages some are energy drinks, milk and chocolate, and mostly water jags, a sister of mine use to put his foods in there, while I love putting my fruits and juices to keep it a cold drink.

I think my fridge is rather boring because I have on its door only one magnet with two elephants. Under this two elephants ( one is big and the other is really small ) there is one sentence " Because I'm your mother". My partner put this magnet up there and I have no idea how he got it and what is true meaning of this sentence.

I live with my parents, and on front of the fridge, are half a dozen little fruit magnets, one small plague with a Bible verse, a magnetic souvenir of a building in Barcelona, a magnet from the ASPCA of the number for the animal poison control center and a flimsy erasable pad that no one in my house really uses. On one side of the fridge are a magnet with hooks and attached are two oven mitts, and also some pig magnets. On the other side, it's close to a wall, but for some reason, there are a few magnets of business numbers. In my own house though (when I have one), I don't plan on having anything on my refrigerator. Maybe a couple of oven mitts, but nothing else

We have much the same. After I kicked my ex out, I took down all his photos, etc. Then when I sold hte house I had been in for 20 years, I took down allt he old magnets and just lweft my favourites up. Since then my daughter has added to th e collection. There are animal magnets, ornament type magnets, and lots of magnets representing organisations such as out local vet. I think there would be at least 50 magnets on the fridge. Hence, I don't clean the front door of the fridge too often.

On my refrigerator there is an old picture to cover the top so that it won't get dusty. On the picture, I put some small things on it, mostly snacks, or something that is not allowed for little children to touch. It is safer there on the top of the refrigerator. We make good use of it. Have a good day.

My first magnet is about an Law Injury Compensation Law Firm, the second magnet is an Christian magnet that has a scripture Bible verse on it. The third magnet is a Heating and Air company that has given me a handy kitchen measurement measuring cup, with measurement equivalents on it.

My fridge is covered on he front and both the sides with random things my parents reckon are important. On the side, the fridge is stacked with calendars, even though one magnetic calendar is enough but when we get another one in the mail, we'll just stick them all on the fridge. It's quite convenient because you can read the date on either side of the fridge. My dad also stuck on police, electricity, plumber and emergency numbers on the fridge just to be in case. Anything I get in the mail that has a little magnet will be on the fridge. Right now, my fridge looks pretty ugly.

Haha, I'm sure my fridge is pretty close to what your Mom's is. I have pictures in little magnetic frames, and a lot of decorated magnets. Seems like everybody who takes a trip (or is at a loss for a Christmas present lol) gets me a magnet. That's ok though, I still like them and find them useful. I also have a magnetic emergency call list that our neighborhood fire dept passed out: name and phone number of all the utilities companies, phone company, sherrif's office, and all that for in the event of an outage or emergency. I have a dry erase board to write groceries on, as soon as I run out it gets logged on there so I don't forget. And...pictures from my grandchildren....lots, and lots of pictures lol. They know gram will put them up for everybody to enjoy, and it makes them proud to have done something (even if I AM the only person who knows what it's a picture of) it might be seen as scribbling to some, but I see it as creativity lol. I also have some of the 'good job!' things that the teacher sent my grandson. I may have a fridge with lots of 'stuff' on it, but it's kind of artfully arranged and not hodge-podge. Besides, it hides the front that has yellowed somewhat with age since it's an older model fridge:-]

What's on my refrigerator? Well, I have photos of me and my boyfriend, some memo clips to remind me of my activities for the day, some bills that need to be paid, magnetic characters such as Winnie the Pooh and the likes. I even have some collections of sayings and cliches posted on it. But eventually I got tired of them all that I cleaned up all of those mess. So after all those not-so-important stuff, I only have my picture on it.

Hi KizzyCatfish.. The only thing that is on our fridge.. is a 'chore' timetable- which is NEVER followed mind you.. LOL.. Cleaning is left to me, Mum or younger sis- and Ive given up cleaning in my Mums house- its just a COMPLETE waste of time and effort.. (",)
