Today I read a report in yahoo about the earth quake that shook North Eastern India more especially Sikkim. 4 persons have died in Sikkim.
I was reminded of Jalpaiguri and Siliguri where I was staying from 1975 - 1977 while serving in a Bank. Nice place. Good people. Excellent sweets I use to get. Now - all those areas are affected by earth quake and power supply also has been cut.

There may be some members of mylot from these areas also. I wish that they should all be safe. True man cannot predict what is to happen the next moment in his life. This will make man very small before God Nature.

I also stayed in Bagdogra which is near Siliguri from 1979 to 1983.The earth are joint of plates. The one of the plates near Himalyas effected by the recent earth quake. Certainly we may not know what is in next store for us.Although we have advanced in many areas, we are still under the mercy of Nature. That is why Hindu Gods are related to Nature. We only can console the relative and pray God for the soul to rest in peace.

An earthquake is the will of God. We must be patient and accept the will of God
