In this life we are given many selection and we prefer one above others. Of course if we have that weapon called Big "M" our choices in life would be greater ....
With Big "M" ~ i would go holidays Overseas and not locally
With Big "M" ~ i would take a flight and not drive there
With Big "M" ~ i would eat at the Hotel and not road side restaurant
With Big "M" ~ i would dress up in expensive clothing and not from Reject Shop
well .... Big "M" decides or choices and not by preference

I do agree with you on that Big 'M'. In this materialistic world, lack of money will surely create a lot of miseries in life. Unlike our ancestors who were not spoiled by the new age inventions, they were able to survive with the most basic needs yet were able to accumulate vast properties for us to enjoy today. Now it is all money talk and everyone is chasing and rushing for the Big 'M' like crazy for the sake of living a quality life. We should however be smart people not to be slaves to money instead let money work for us so we can have quality time with our loved ones.

when i was in school ~ there was 2 types of choice ~ 1) Necessity /Essential 2) Wants
necessity was home, food and cloths ....
wants are handphone (worst of it is I-Phone) .... must you really spend money on this???

Human wants can never be satisfied. We can go without all these gadgets, handphones etc..but without one, will be seen as odd in this era. The influencing factor from the society is what prompt many to go on spending on so many unnecessary stuffs that we can go without.

I feel it dear .... i feel it ... our holiday was at a small beach resort locally, and we choose the cheapest hotel ..... his family who joined us did not understand why we choose the place ~ well we had to pay for it, Big M does not grow on trees

It is true that if one has the money, he will have the power to choose the best options he wants. However, it is very usual that this power gets abused, and the person end up as the prisoner of the big M. I think one has to retain the principles of humility and morality.
