One of Jessica Soho’s topic last Saturday on her show was about hamburgers.
Ben’s Burjer , owned by Ben Abalos, was featured, because it was said that the patty alone is already so delicious enough to eat even without the bread! The hamburger really looked so yummy!
Then, there’s this hamburger joint in Cebu too that it uses Wagyu beef for its patty. One hamburger alone served in a bento box, with other side dishes costs PhP1,700.00 ($41). If a wagyu burger is this costly, then I prefer to eat the wagyu steak . At least it would be the meat itself and can have a bigger serving. But no, I won’t spend PhP1,700.00 for this burger.
Then, there’s a joint in Libis too that serves crocodile hamburger. Oh, I don’t like this one, promise.
Then , there’s the ostrich burger. This, I would like to try someday.
But as it is, hamburger is one of my comfort foods too. Though, I get to eat one only, once in a while because it’s not a healthy food.

That's what i knew too, chicken and beef hamburger. It's just through that particular show that i came to know about the others.
Ostrich hamburger, i can eat that one. But crocodile hamburger, definitely NO!
That wagyu burger's price did shocked me.

Correct! I would rather spend the 1700 for a very nice bag or shoes. And buy hamburger that are delicious yet cheap.

Hii,SIMPLYD:I become so greedy after reading your post.I have never known there are crocodile burger and ostrich burger served in fast food restaurants.I am keen on eating burgers, especially chicken burgers. It's aenjoyable time for me when having lunch with a chicken burger.
However,as you say, burger is not a kind of heaithy food for it contain too much extra cholesterol which may do harm to our health.Conccerning that,I lessen my frequency of eating burger and form a habit to eat a certain number of fruit and vegetables which help eliminate waste materials from the body.

Same here , zaq. Whenever i have to comment back on responses about this topic, it makes me crave for hamburger. But i have to control myself, because i had one already last week.
It may be true that hamburgers are cholesterol laden, but i think, eating them once in a while, wouldn't harm us. We just have to make sure we do eat fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water, to compensate for our eating hamburger.

I love Hamburgers, but unfortunately I have had to cut down on my meat consumption due to heatlh concerns, so lately I have been eating more chicken, fish and shell fish. But just the other day, actually this weekend to percise I went to a burger place by my house "FuddRuckers" and at a cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms, bacon, lettuce, onions, tomatoe. That burger was to die for, it had been a while so we actually went there to have a burger and then you have the seaoned potatoe wedges with melted cheese. YUMMY!!! I enjoyed it. Can't wait for that again...

I feel like eating one too as i read your post. It seems that it's sooo delicious. I would eat a burger too for lunch today.
Actually, just like you, i lessen the frequency of eating hamburger. It's actually the cholesterol it has that i am avoiding, though my cholesterol is within the normal level. So, whenever i eat a cholesterol laden dish like hamburger, for sure i am going to take simvastatin, a cholesterol lowering pill before bedtime.

That wagyu burger is indeed costly, I can have lots of jollibee yum burger with 1,700Php....Here in our place, there's Big Brother's Burger. They serve extra large hamburgers. I think they have other branches around the country so if ever you find one, try them

That's correct. We could buy a lot of hamburgers with that amount and be able to give to our family members as well.
I have already tasted Big Brother's Burger and i shared it with my daughter once when we were in Manila. Lately, she said that it's her and boyfriend's favorite now.
I just forget though how much does one of that cost.
