I watched the news on tv yesterday and noticed that many demonstrations and rallies are going on.
People blame the government because they couldn't get a job. They conducted a transport strike, and it affected us,especially my dad too much.My dad didn't go to his job because demonstrators lied on the road, and cars couldn't pass by.Why do people blame government for them having no job?why do they blame the government for the rising of the prices of oil.I know the government has no control for the oil prices because only the world market controls the prices.I checked the online classifieds and found there were many jobs available.Maybe people are just picky when it comes to job.
I don't get their point. We can blame the governmet but not in these matters.
What do you think about this?

Because i think job availability in a country is extremely related to the policy that the goverment make and people are paying tax for goverment to make that policy so it's normal if people blame the goverment if they couldn't get a job.

surfer I believe that if there isn't a job to fit your degree where you live then those jobs are filled, that is what is said to you when you go to an employment agency to find work. If you want work to fit your degree when there isn't any available in that area you have to look else where. Not everyone can just up and move or absorb the cost of that kind of travelling to be able to do this. So if you want to work you take the job that is available. Which I have done and many I know who have.
I had a friend that has a bachelor degree and ended up being a janitor for a company because there wasn't anything available for him in the area they were living. So is it the governments fault that what we Want to do with our life, Doesn't fit the area we live in? Or that the jobs are not available so if we can't move we deal with the jobs that are available?
I haven't worked in awhile. There are three adults in this home with one car. Two work less paying jobs because that is what is available. The car gets them both to work. One takes car to work, the other goes in super early and stays extra 2 hours to be able to get ride home. If they didn't do this, she would not have a job. I have applied here to places of employment and no job with in walking distance. Is it the Governments fault we only have one car to be able to get to jobs that we could get that are in the paper?

I still think it wasn't right if we have an education as an architect but end up cleaning a street and sewer. We pay for that education so we can be what we want. If the only job that available is some dirty manual jobs then i think that was the result of a failed goverment policy.

As I have said, many jobs are available.I think many couldn't get a job because those jobs are either dirty manual jobs (plumbing, street sweeping) or jobs that require a high educational attainment.
I don't know...

Of late I see the governments like the Mafia's of the world. Taking control in how the people do things or buy things etc. As for all those jobs listed, I have been looking and been turned down with all of them. So the lists in paper are not always away to judge if jobs are available or not for some.
Prices of life is controlled by governments as well as the owners of the richest companies on this earth. They do control, what the cost of living is for us as far as the products we purchase. Everyone wants to make a profit, that is the goal right? So if no profit, prices go up. No matter what part of the world you are talking about, for we humans have put more value to prices than we have for life. Money speaks louder than a human being these days. Who controls the Money?

Something my Grandparents use to tell us.
When you point a finger to accuse someone, look down at your hand and see the other three pointing back.

Before we blame other people or institution for your fault in life let us look at the mirror first.I love what you said about the finger.

Ausralians are notorious for blaming hte Government for absolutely evrythiong that is wrong with their lives. People who do this, are unable to accept responsiblity for themselves, they have to blame someone and it is usually the politcians.
Sure, there may well be many issues people could critisize the government for, but it takes a society for a government to run. We are all part of the government, at least in a democracy.

You are right.we are all part of government. We are like a team.Everyone has to move.If only the team captains move, there will be no victory.
Blaming the government is not the solution for the problems. The goverment does not hold our fate.We have to make it ourselves.

People that get made redundant want to get another job. However many people are in that same situation. Some get desperately upset and look to find who is responsible for their unemployment. A minority of these lack out at the government.
In my home country there is a recession. At the disabled playgroup that my son used to go to I know one lady retired. They had three new members of staff and they all happens to be volunteers from the past. During the voluntary work they obviously proved themselves. If I look at job adverts there are not many available. I know that for a desirable job they can have 200 people apply. They only pick a few lucky people to interview.
The government are not responsible for the people's unemployment. It is a shame about all that is going on like transport strikes and complaint rallies.

Many people in my country couldn't get the job because their educational attainment does not fit the job.I searched the web for jobs available in my country and found that there are many many many many jobs available. Some companies are looking for college graduate to work as waiters, company branch managers, many more.
They couldn't get a job because many people here don't prioritize studying in college.Very few study college so very few get jobs.I mean it's not really fault of the government why we have no job.

well i think that the population complains about the goverment because they don't live to what people intended them for!! Also people can't blame the goverment since they were the ones that put them were they are!

Many give birth to many children when they don't have the money or job to give their children a better life. There aren't too many jobs available because many people don't plan their family.

There are lots of reason why we blame government in spite of knowing fact which you have described.
Basically, to say, the government in our country is not well defined. M not targeting or hitting any specific political parties but as a wholesome, we need the standard of communication and practical effort has to be taken to work out things.
Hiking of prices has become a trend which we are witnessing for the last many years can't be taken into consideration, no matter whats happening around the world. The stable government does have the potential to control things irrespective of other happenings...
In West Bengal, the prices of hard drinks gone up twice in a month. It is quite ridiculous why these things are happening out as frequently. May be we people are not aware of the practical agenda to this but it should be communicated to the public in an authentic way.

The prices of commodities go higher because of what we call law of demand and supply. The population of people is rapidly growing while the resources of the world is depleting.More population and less resources means higher prices.

Government is nothing but the people ourselves. We the one who selected them and we should make them listen to our words. We shouldn't blame them for their wrong doings. Everyone is equal and if you find a wrong person in the responsible, then make him come down from this position and elect a right candidate to that position. There is no point in blaming the government by keeping the mistakes with us.

I think that the government are the people to blame for things that go wrong in the country simple because they're the people who are in charge, and they are the ones who have to make the decisions. However, it is also up to us, as we have the power to vote them into power which means that we should be very careful when we're thinking about who we are going to vote to be in charge of our own country. Running the country is a hard job, with many difficult decisions to be made. There are bound to be things that go wrong, and it is too easy to blame the people in charge when this is the case.

Some people are very much adept in knowing and blaming particualr just anyone or anybody at the slightest reason or problem. Some do it for no reason, some for the flimsiest reason there is and some do becuase there is a serious matter at hand. Blaming the government is just like doing a time-honored tradition becuase somehow and somewhere the government has a part in it.
I am not undermining the reasons of the protesters becuase they have valid concerns and valid points for their blame. But blaming the governemnt as the only one at fault is hardly fair. People judge issues at face value or by looking only to the big picture. Granted there are issues where the governemnt have failed, it is often good to be at least be objective and put the others to blame if necessary. Blaming the governemnt doesn't make the prices lower or the job hunting easier. Sometimes, as the public, we also have our part in the blame - others just don't have the guts to admit that.
While the governemnt can do many things, all things cannot be done immediately and instantly. There are proper channels, rules and procedures for everything. Though it might seem as an obstacle, it is better to follow what is in the law rather than risk harm and hurt.
I am one of those people who already lost faith in governance and form time to time, blame them too. But i am also aware of my shortcomings, as little as they may be comapred to the government's.

We blame government for a better life, on the other hand, these blames play a part in supervising the government. It's impossible to eliminate all blames contraposing governments.

The government is there to serve people, and should be pushed to provide necessary mechanism to ease the living standard of the people. Yes, we all know that oil prices is controlled by the world market, but my question is what is the government doing to make sure the local currency's inflation rate is minimal when compared to a dollar? Nowadays people should not always look for employment especially in government, but what could be the work of the government if it has nothing to offer fro her people?
Demonstration is the only way to tell the government of its shortcomings.
