i'm done watching the last movie installment of the Harry Potter series and its making me sad. I'm gonna miss the Weasley twins and i remembered i miss LOTR too. I've been following these two both on books and on the big screen and i wonder if i'll have new addictions coming soon :DD i saw the Hunger Games trilogy movie details online and its coming very soon..I hope the Artemis Fowl series will follow soon after ( i had this series for a quite a while on my book shelf but i started reading it just recently.i highly recommend it :D) Are you fond of reading books? If so, do you have any particular book or series in mind that you want to be adapted for the big screen? and yeah, who's the actor/actress that you'd like to be portraying the main character?

Right now I want to watch the Pittacus Lore series - "I am number four" and so. Well, even the book series hasn't being finished yet. So, I think it would take a long time until it appear on cinema..

There are plenty of series still to follow in the movie and book series. There is the Inheritance Cycle - eragon, eldest and brisingr. Also the Percy Jackon series though i did not like the picturization of the first book in the series. I have read all the Artemis Fowl novels but i am not supporter of making a movie from it. When you read a book you let your imagination go and you imagine and generate a lot of characters and their lives. There is a real connection. you lose that connection the moment you watch a movie. I have never seen any movie do justice to the book it was written on.

Haha, yup, I agree with you. Up to now, there's no movie that being as good as the book :). If we let all of the details to be filmed, I think the duration of the film would be really long...

There is Robert Jordan's Wheels of Time series. Though the book is not as good as the HP series or the Lord of the Rings, it would still be an interesting movie to make. The only problem is that the book has 12 episodes. I am not sure it would be easy to sustain a 12 installment movie!! Cheers! Ram

There's actually a book i'm reading at the moment, The Last Werewolf, with a main character which i think could be played perfectly by Gary Oldman (Sirius Black). In terms of series, i would love to see the black magician trilogy adated for the big screen. Birdie -

I've read both books too, but I doubt if there's any more series who can be as successful. I've been waiting for the Eragon series, but I also doubt there will be a sequel. I haven't finished Artemis Fowl series, but it's a good read :)

Well right now, I am actually waiting for the showing of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1. I have read the book and i would love to see it in the big screen though HP would still remain my first favorite. I would definitely miss the adventures of the BOY WHO LIVED and HE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED. lolz

yeah, I heard of the Hunger Games to..i think it is coming out this year or the next.. I would like the Dark Hunter series to be made into a movie though, yeah, it's about vampire-like creatures but it is interesting since it has its rots in Greek Mythology, not just plain teenage love..

I have read both harry potter and artemis fowl! I think they are really good books but i think harry potter is the best book. its because the writer are so good that after reading a few sentences i cant stop! But artemis fowl is really good but it is pretty hard to "hang on" in the books. The scene is switching really fast and it can be hard to find out who that is in the situation...
